A cot and highchair are available on request. The large shared lawned garden is great for children to run around in. Windermere Lake Cruises and the World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness are both under 2 miles away. Go Ape at Grizedale Forest is 8 miles from the door.

For Couples

The sitting room has a wall-width window with views towards Lake Windermere and a woodburning stove for quiet evenings in. The ground floor king bedroom has a bright en-suite shower room. Windermere town, lakeside walks and Bowness restaurants are all within easy reach on foot.

Pet Friendly

The Grange Lodge does not accept pets. This applies to all animals. If you are travelling with a pet please search for alternative properties in the Lakelovers collection that are listed as dog friendly.

No, The Grange Lodge does not have a hot tub. The property does offer a woodburning stove, a large shared garden with patio and BBQ and stunning views towards Lake Windermere as key outdoor and comfort features.

Is it pet friendly?

No, The Grange Lodge does not accept pets. Smoking is also not permitted anywhere on the property.

How many bedrooms and bathrooms does it have?

The lodge has three bedrooms a king en-suite on the ground floor and a king plus a twin on the lower ground floor. There are 3 showers, a bath and 4 WCs across the property including a ground floor cloakroom.

How far is the property from Lake Windermere?

The lake is approximately a 5-minute walk downhill from the property. Guests regularly walk to the pier and take the lake cruises from there.

Is the property suitable for guests with limited mobility?

The ground floor king bedroom has a bright en-suite with walk-in shower and is on the same level as the main living areas. Previous guests have used this room successfully with an elderly relative with limited mobility.

Is there parking at the property?

Yes, there is off-road parking for up to 3 cars. Note that there is no electric car charging point at the property but a public EV charging station is available at Booths supermarket in Windermere.

What is included in the rental price?

Fuel and power are included in the rent. Bed linen and towels are also provided. A welcome pack with toiletries is included and a cot and highchair are available on request.

How close is Windermere town centre?

Windermere town centre is less than a 10-minute walk from the property. Booths supermarket, a traditional butcher, cafes, restaurants and pubs are all within easy walking distance.
