This is a fantastic place to stay in Bowness on Windemere, the owner Gerry was on hand when we arrived and explained all that we needed to know. He is a very friendly guy and very easy to talk to. Hannahs cottage had everything we needed for our break but there were lots of thoughtful things Gerry had done here like night lights on the skirting as you came and upstairs outside bedrooms, the modern bathroom had plenty of hooks for clothing, plenty wardrobe storage, the place was spotless and decorated to a very high standard with a modern high end kitchen with a huge cooking range. Everything was there, even a cling film dispenser to wrap food to take out ! The cottage is ideally suited for Bowness and Winde.mere with only 10 minute walk to Bowness centre with it's many resteraunts and bars. Parking was right outside door on a quiet street and bus stops only 5 minutes walk away. We would certainly recommend staying at Hannahs cottage to anyone. Ian and Martha Boyes, Fife, Scotland.

Hannah's cottage is an amazing accommodation! It is in the ideal location to go on hikes and visit Windermere. Everything was clean and all of the bedrooms were cosy and comfy to stay in. A superb cottage within easy walking distance of both Bowness & Windermere. The cottage is set on a quiet street with plenty of parking immediately outside. The cottage itself is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner, Gerry, met us on arrival to ensure everything was ok which it was and lives close by if any issues were to arise which they won't. In summary highly recommended and would definitely return!!

Our second visit to Hannahs cottage and it was as good as the first time with the added bonus we stayed for longer. The cottage has absolutely everything you need, every detail has been thought through with a lot of care for every comfort. Lovely, this is a comfortable, clean and well located holiday home. My family and I had a great stay, Gerry the owner, was friendly and provided a great experience for us. The weather was unsettled most of the time we were there and it was a welcome relief to have a nice place to return too. We had an absolutely fantastic time staying at Hannahs Cottage. It was warm and comfortable at all times, perfect for a stay during the cold winter months. It is perfectly situated about a 10 minute walk from the town of BownessonWindermere, and a 15 minute walk from the town of Windermere itself. Lots of fantastic restaurants nearby. Gerry himself was great at communicating about a small issue with the WiFi in the property, and was quick to fix this. House very clean ,having 2 bedrooms upstairs and toilet and also a downstairs basement with another bedroom and toilet and shower ,all very clean and nicely done ,nice and modern... Parking on roadside just outside house always a place.. All in all a great place to stay would recommend.

Hannahs Cottage was by far the cleanest and most beautiful cottage we have ever stayed in. Perfectly placed to walk into either Bowness or Windermere, it simply couldnt be beaten for location, comfort, cleanliness and attention to detail. A real home from home, well equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. Three very generous and comfortable bedrooms including the basement space which felt like having your own luxurious personal suite. Meeting the owner Gerry was also a real treat , he couldnt have been more welcoming. Hannahs Cottage is most certainly a Lake District jewel and we will definitely be returning. A beautiful property inside and out, and the bonus to us which we had not been expecting was the back garden with the table and chairs and as the weather was sunny and warm this was very welcome. A perfect stay in a perfect cottage thank you. Spacious, light and really well equipped across three floors this generous 3 double bedroom accomodation would suit a variety of guest configurations. The outside space was an extra bonus. Situated in a lovely location with views across to the fells on all sides. We arrived by train and travelled everywhere on foot and by bus the local infrastructure is amazing. Onroad parking directly in front of the house. This accommodation is situated in a very quiet residential area.
