The Grange Lodge is a detached Lakeland lodge in Windermere, part of the respected Lakelovers collection. It sits in an elevated position overlooking peaceful shared grounds and scores 4. 9 out of 5 from guests. Tucked away off the main road with no road noise yet just a short walk from Windermere town centre it genuinely feels like a quiet rural retreat.

The lake is about a 5-minute walk downhill. Bus stops are 2 minutes away with services to Bowness and Ambleside. Orrest Head is an easy walk from the door. Windermere town has a traditional butcher, Booths supermarket and plenty of cafes and pubs.

Three bedrooms sleep up to 6. The ground floor has a king bedroom with en-suite shower room.

World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness is 2 miles away (8 mins). Windermere Lake Cruises depart nearby. Grizedale Forest and Go Ape are around 8 miles (20 mins). Ambleside is just 5 miles north (12 mins).

The large shared lawned garden with patio and BBQ is a real highlight. The Grange Lodge suits families and groups who want space, great views and easy access to the best of the Lake District.

Yes, there is off-road parking for up to 3 cars. Note that there is no electric car charging point at the property but a public EV charging station is available at Booths supermarket in Windermere.
