Located just 1.5 miles from Windermere station, the cottage sits between Bowness and Windermere. You're minutes from the lake shore and local shops. The area offers excellent walking routes and easy access to Ambleside.

The cottage sleeps two guests in one king-size bedroom with quality bedding. The open-plan living area includes a fully fitted solid oak kitchen with halogen hob and dishwasher. The marbled bathroom has a shower over bath. Night storage heating keeps you warm alongside the log burner. There's parking for two cars and WiFi throughout.

Burrow cottage is a lovely place to stay we had a relaxing and highly enjoyable few days. The cottage is very cosy with a well equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook. The shower and bathroom are perfect and the bedroom spot on with a spacious comfortable bed. Overall Burrow cottage is an ideal base to explore the area thank you for a fantastic few days!
