Addylea Cottage Reviews

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage , it was very clean and cosy with a beautiful view from the living room window and plenty of space for our dog to run around . We had a warm welcome with some biscuits and a tea tray left for us. Enjoyed it all .
Our recent week in the Lake District was pure magic. Staying on a lovely working farm gave us a wonderful taste of countryside life, made even better by the owners and their lovely family who were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From unforgettable steam train trips to peaceful cruising on Lake Windermere, every single day felt like a dream. It is the perfect place to slow down, breathe fresh air, and make wonderful memories. We cannot wait to return!
Elaine
Just back from a lovely week at Addylea Cottage. The cottage is cosy and well equipped and our children loved the outside space. The area is peaceful and the views are spectacular. There is a pub that serves food within walking distance and Bowness is a short drive away. The hosts were so helpful with suggestions of places to visit and were on hand if we needed anything. It was a perfect base to explore the area.
Lovely comfy, cosy cottage with all we needed for a very pleasant stay. Spotlessly clean place and friendly hosts. Amazing views from the window including visiting pheasants and rabbits. Very narrow approach lanes but well worth the cautious drive.
Vineet
We enjoyed our stay as property is very well located and sights are beautiful from the living room itself. The only challenge that we faced was with heating and I think this was because the heating was preset and when weather became bad and temperatures went below 0, the preset heating was not very effective. Still, this will not stop us going back to same property again
Fabulous location and views as quite rural it is very quiet. Great pub within walking distance.
Annamarie
Lovely cottage with fantastic views. Very clean with everything you need and an oven which is easy to use. Owners very friendly and welcoming. Only slightly negative bit was it was a bit more rural as I thought.
Superb views from lounge and patio, comfortable sofas and beds, lovely owners. Had everything we needed for a weeks walking in the Lakes!
Judith

A beautiful cottage in tranquil surroundings with wonderful views. Everything clean and comfortable. Ideal for family or two couples to share. Lovely garden area for dog. Nothing negative to say. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it as a base to discover the area.
Brenda
Beautiful cottage and garden with stunning views. Our dog enjoyed the lovely big garden. A little short on the lowvalue things antibacterial handwash, spare toilet roll, kitchen roll etc but not a problem as wed brought our own. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
