Lovely comfy, cosy cottage with all we needed for a very pleasant stay. Spotlessly clean place and friendly hosts. Amazing views from the window including visiting pheasants and rabbits. Very narrow approach lanes but well worth the cautious drive.

Just back from a lovely week at Addylea Cottage. The cottage is cosy and well equipped and our children loved the outside space. The area is peaceful and the views are spectacular. There is a pub that serves food within walking distance and Bowness is a short drive away. The hosts were so helpful with suggestions of places to visit and were on hand if we needed anything. It was a perfect base to explore the area.

We enjoyed our stay as property is very well located and sights are beautiful from the living room itself. The only challenge that we faced was with heating and I think this was because the heating was preset and when weather became bad and temperatures went below 0, the preset heating was not very effective. Still, this will not stop us going back to same property again

Beautiful cottage and garden with stunning views. Our dog enjoyed the lovely big garden. A little short on the lowvalue things antibacterial handwash, spare toilet roll, kitchen roll etc but not a problem as wed brought our own. Hosts very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.
