Limefitt Park sits beside the River Trout in a quiet valley setting. Walking routes start directly from the lodge Garburn Pass, Wansfell Pike and Troutbeck Valley are all on your doorstep.

The lodge has three bedrooms: one king-size with en-suite shower, basin and WC plus two twin rooms. There are two bathrooms including a family bathroom with bath and heated towel rail. A travel cot and highchair are provided.

Windermere village is 4 miles away (10 mins). Bowness-on-Windermere is roughly 5 miles (12 mins). Windermere Jetty Museum is 3.7 miles (9 mins). The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction in Bowness is 4.1 miles (10 mins).

The large decking with outdoor furniture is ideal for evening meals outdoors. Windermere, Bowness and Ambleside are all within a 15-minute drive for restaurants and lake cruises.
Pet Friendly
Horseshoe Lodge does not accept pets. The wider Limefitt Park has designated dog-walking areas and some lodges elsewhere on the park are dog-friendly. If travelling with a dog you will need to book a different lodge on the park.
