A great Lodge which we have stayed at a number of times. The Lodge has good views towards the Lake and is in a peaceful part of the park. Would highly recommend . Fallbarrow park is in a great location within easy walking distance to Bowness and Windermere.

Lovely Lodge, I would definitely recommend staying here

My wife and I would like you to convey our thanks to the owner for allowing us to use this superbly furnished unit. They have thought of everything. And everything is quality. It is as you would expect in a lived in private dwelling. Clean and well maintained. The welcome packs were very useful. We won't need to bring so much next time! If we have the opportunity to return one day, we would certainly do so. Sad to leave. Thank you.

Thank you so much for an amazing stay at Windemere Lodge. Perfect for a girls trip and such an amazing location. The lodge was so clean & homely with lots of lovely touches, including the complimentary cleaning supplies in the kitchen and the complimentary shower gels etc in the bathrooms. We loved it, and would love to come back! Unfortunately the only downside is that we couldnt get the tv to work properly. We changed the batteries in one of the remote controls but still couldnt get the sky to work on HDMI2 as the instructions said. The freeview didnt work as it said that there was no signal and no channels could be found. It wasnt too big a deal for us but it needs to be looked into for the next guests. Thanks so much x

The lodge was modern, spotlessly clean and very well equipped and well maintained. The location is ideal for Bowness and walkingexploring the Lake District. We found the lodge very comfortable, cosy, very relaxing and wouldn't hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

Good lodge excellent location warm and clean let down slightly by the lounge furniture which was not comfortable.

Nice place, spotlessly clean with quality furnishings let down slightly by a few minor issues Cooking implements were not in good shape most knives were blunt, grater didnt have a handle, most pans didnt have lids or the ones there were broken. One of the ovens rack was broken and fell out so often it wasnt usable. Minor repairs needed to the lighting some bulbs not working, and one bedside light was hanging off the wall. Internet was unusable not just slow but unreliable kept disconnecting. While I appreciate this was provided by the park, and internet speeds are slow in that area, there are many ways to provide reliable, if slow, access.

The lodge is immaculate and perfect for our needs, everything was just perfect! Location on Fallbarrow is just a short walk from the entrance.

The couches were not comfortable, the rest of the lodge was very nice.

A beautiful lodge in the trees. Glimpses of the lake too. Everything was spotlessly clean. Everything from the bedding to the crockery, glasses, etc. was high spec. Very homely with nice pictures, ornaments, soft furnishings, etc. We will stay again definitely. Highly recommended.

The owners have thought of everything in this lodge. We had a fabulous weekend with our four grandchildren. The location is perfect.

This was our second visit this year with another booking for December. We have really enjoyed the lodge but we have been unable to use Sky as not responding hope this can be resolved ready for us in December

My family arrived for a 2 night stay and were so impressed with the property everything was spotless, light and airy with a well equipped kitchen, sky tvnot that we needed it games cupboard and even a welcome pack. The location was amazing, secluded in the greenery of the trees but a lovely view of Lake Windermere beyond. Just a short walk into the bustle of Bowness an amazing stay will book this lodge again!!

Outstanding accommodation! We travelled as a family of 5 2 adults and 3 children 5 year old and 2 year old twins this was a very last minute booking, much to my horror, as in booked it Friday morning and set off an hour later! Turned out to be one of the best weekends away weve had! Im very fussy with cleanliness, this exceeded my expectations I usually ship the husband out with the kids for an hour to unpack and fully clean the place when we go away but we were able to unpack and get straight out!! We didnt take travel cots but we put the mattress from the top bunk on the floor and the twins were able to sleep on there, our eldest had one of the other rooms to himself. The lodge is immaculate with a very well thought out floor plan. We didnt use the outside space but the view was lovely, can imagine it would be perfect on a summer night with a glass of wine! Plenty on outdoor furniture and the decking area was big enough for a large family to enjoy or eat outside. Id seen a couple of people had mentioned that the living room furniture wasnt very comfortable, I do get it, and on a personal preference Id would have a more loungey sofa but it was plenty comfortable for the evenings when watching the Tv and relaxing so not really an issue for us! The WiFi wasnt great but we used our personal hotspots on our mobiles and had no problems. We didnt use the sky Tv so I cant comment on that but Netflix and the general Tv channels were fine for our stay. We absolutely loved our stay here and the location was just perfect, weve been looking for our next stay!, hopefully it wont be too long until we can return!

We had an amazing stay with family The decor is lovely and all looks like new Club house facilities good too with decent food with evening meals and breakfast Great location next to Bowness Only downside, we couldnt get WiFi but all had decent phone signals so not much of a problem

A lovely, well maintained lodge. Great views of Lake Windermere. Stayed at this Lodge before and always look forward to returning. Would highly recommend this property.

Windermere lodge has everything you will need for a comfortable holiday, and the heating kept the lodge nice and warm for your return after a wet and cold day out.

Windermere lodge was just perfect. The lodge itself was so comfortable and clean with everything you could wish for and the outside decking area and views were fantastic. The location was great both on the park and for the distance into Bowness. We can't wait to stay again.

The lodge was excellent, the only comment is that one morning there was no water, we had to contact the maintenance team. It turns out there is a safety cut off switch in the lodge, which had to be reset. Could you please put a note in the Lodge instructions 'What to do it there is no water to the Lodge' this would of been very helpful , and would of saved a lot of hassle. However this will not deter is from returning.

Lodge is beautiful, so comfortable and a pleasure to stay in , everything you need and more is there

WiFi not working. Coat hooks by entrance would help. Shower a bit leaky.in bathroom. Heated floor a bonus. Overall happy though and would recommend

Beautiful, well kept lodge. It was like a like from home.

99.9 perfect Did have an issue with the sky tv. ... didnt always work but thats the only issue we had and it certainly didnt effect the holiday.

The lodge was fabulous, had everything you could possibly need and more. Situated in Nice spot on the park. Bed was exceptionally comfy. Will definately be returning

Unfortunately the postcode does not take you to the lodge and I hot lost. The sky TV was not accessible also

This was our 2nd visit, fab cabin in a really good location.

Lodge was perfect, clean, well equipped with nice view of the Lake through the trees. Ideal location for Bowness and surrounding area.

The lodge was immaculate and it was a wonderful place to stay for a family holiday. It had everything we needed and was in a perfect location, we hope to stay again soon thank you!

We really loved the lodge. Well equipped, modern & comfortable. Location is great within a 5 minute walk into town.

This was our second time staying at Windermere Lodge and still a lovely place to stay. Well maintained, great position on the park with stunning views across the lake. Would highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable property in a peaceful environment. There was a problem with the over bath shower which was promptly rectified. Would love to stay again.

We had a fantastic few days. The lodge was absolutely perfect for all our needs. We would recommend this lodge and look forward to visiting again in the future.

We had a lovely stay. The lodge was of a high standard and a great position close to the Lake and Bowness accessible on foot.

We really enjoyed our stay at Windermere Lodge. The location is great just a few mins from Bowness and the facilities were great the park had a children's play area, cafe and shop and it was only a short walk to the lakeside The lodge was fantastic modern with nice furniture, we have young children so spent quite a bit of time in on an evening, the DVDs There are Beatrix Potter ones which we watched after visiting the museum. The outdoor furniture and BBQ were great too. Would definitely recommend. Thanks again.

We enjoyed our first stay in Windermere lodge and would definately book again. The lodge was clean in all the main areas bathroom, kitchen and bedrooms etc but not sure how often they have a deep clean. Around the edges of the windows and the venitian blinds were quite dusty and down the sides of the chairs had not been hoveredcleaned. Would be interestred to know if this is something that is done weekly or not. It did not detract from our stay as the lodge met all our needs and was comfortable.

My Husband and I had a lovely stay at Windermere Lodge. The Lodge was very modern, clean and comfortable. The Bedrooms were all a good size and had plenty of wardrobe space. Beds were also a good size and very comfortable. The under floor heating in the bathroom was a real treat, so nice!! A well equipped kitchen had everything we needed and more. The on site Willow Bar Restaurant served excellent food and all the staff there were very friendly and helpful. The Deli shop was handy for a few groceries and a nice stop off for a coffee after walking back from Bowness. We had a nice relaxing week here which was well needed. Thank You !!

Great property with beautiful views of the lake. Would definitely recommend. We have already booked this property for later this year.
