The Viewpoint is a contemporary two-bedroom cottage set between Bowness-on-Windermere and Windermere in the South Lakes, Cumbria. It sits above the town with uninterrupted views across Lake Windermere and the surrounding Lakeland fells visible from the bedrooms, the open-plan living space and the tiered garden. A private gate leads directly onto Craig Walk with School Knott walks accessible from the doorstep.

The South Lakes is serious walking country. Trails start right outside the door ranging from gentle lakeside routes to fell-top hikes. Lake Windermere is 3.5 miles away. The World of Beatrix Potter is just half a mile down the road. Windermere town with its independent shops and restaurants is one mile away.

The Viewpoint sleeps four across two bedrooms a super-king and a king both with lake views. There are two bathrooms and a lower-ground social room with a bar area and large-screen projector. The kitchen has an oven, dishwasher and coffee machine.

Brockhole on Windermere (3.5 miles) has treetop adventures and zip wires. Kendal is 11 miles away. Parking for one car is on-site and dogs are welcome up to two.
