Wonderful house to stay in bowness. Great facilities. Attention to detail has been made on this property. Great location. At the start of main high street. Have recommended to family and friends.

Quarry end is in a perfect location easy reach of everything well recommend and we will definitely have a 3rd visit love the lakes full stop.

We enjoyed a really lovely week at Quarry End. The house is very warm and comfortable and in walking distance of the shops and the lake. We look forward to returning next year.

Our second stay and just as good as we remembered it last time. The accommodation and location within the town centre are exceptional and the host Janet could not have been more helpful. This is the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in and we most definitely will be returning,

Our second time at this wonderful property and if anything we found it to be even better than our very positive recollections of the first visit! The property is tucked away in a peaceful location but is also so handy for the Lake and all the facilities in Bowness in very easy walking distance. Good on site parking for two cars is also a real bonus for Bowness! The house is superbly equipped, is very well decorated, clean, light and airy. We met Janet the owner who was most helpful and friendly without at all being intrusive. She deserves real credit for all the lovely generous finishing touches which adorn this property .We had a super holiday and would have no hesitation in coming back to this wonderful house. Superb!

Had an wonderful holiday in this beautiful home from home property. The house is set in the perfect location,just a few minutes stroll away from the centre of Bowness. The property consists of everything you could possibly need for your stay,with extra attention given to make your stay here more comfortable and welcoming. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner briefly, whom could not make us feel more welcomed, lovely lady! We will definitely be returning again!

We had such a wonderful week at Quarry End. A fantastic house, so clean & comfortable. Very kind & generous treats such as cake, milk, biscuits, teas, coffees, toiletries were a lovely surprise & very much appreciated. We were lucky to have amazing weather so we were able to enjoy the private outdoor space. A great location, just a few minutes walk to the centre and the lake. A huge bonus to have private parking too. We have been to Bowness a few times before and this is the best place we have stayed. We hope to return in the near future.

This is an extremely well appointed property in a great location for Lake Windermere and beyond. We would strongly recommend this property and would be happy to book again if we returned to Bowness. The welcome packs kitchen, coffee station and bathroom toiletries were very thoughtful. On a very small point, whilst the kitchen was very well appointed, including lunch boxes which were very useful, it would have been helpful to have clingfilm and foil for our stay.

Fantastic house in the centre of Bowness, the kitchen has more utensils and crockery than a restaurant, large open living and dining area with a patio door leading to the outside sitting area. Two lovely bedrooms and a bathroom with a great walk in shower. Decorated to an exceptional standard and very well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay here and could not fault a thing. The property is perfectly located in Bowness with the added bonus of the two parking spaces. It is light, bright, spacious and beautifully decorated. The owner really has thought of everything with the design and decor with lots of special touches. The larger of the two bedrooms has a large comfortable bed and the room is spacious with lots of light and ventilation from having the doors to the Juliette balcony. It was a joy to come back here every day after exploring The Lakes and we will definitely stay here again.

This was our 2nd stay at Quarry End and so we knew what to expect after our 1st visit back in October 2019. Having stayed in Bowness on many occasions over the last 15 years Quarry End is the best property that we have stayed in. Perfectly located with a 2 minutes walk into the town centre, the property is immaculate and simple has everything that you could want in a home away from home. Janet the owner has set very high standards and the welcome pack including cake! gives you a strong idea of how comfortable the staff will be. The 2 parking spaces are a huge bonus given the location and the house is kitted out beautifully. We will certainly be back again in the years to come ideal base for exploring the Lakes.

Enjoyed our week at quarry End beautiful cottage in the right spot for a bit of peace? Cottage excellently equipped with every thing you could want even down to Extras a lovely carrot cake,milk,flowers,etc and it goes on Janet is a lovely person and very helpful nothing to much trouble at all, we will be back ,and would definitely recommend to friends and family Wendy&Colin Jones

Wonderful place everything needed for our stay . ..wonderful host helped with a problem we had taking a parcel in while we were out...very helpful...lovely lady. Will definitely visit again so near to all amenities but the accommodation was outstanding

A wonderful holiday let. The house was very comfortable and well equipped and the cleanliness and attention to detail 5 star. Everything had be done to make us feel welcome and our stay hassle free. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

It was one of the best properties that we have stayed in. Everything was there to make you feel you were at home. Also very close to the shops and in a quiet area.

Lovely property located in an ideal position. Everything needed was supplied. Little extras were appreciated. Janet is a lovely person. Only thing for me was, small towel too small to wrap around wet hair, next size far too big for this purpose. nice towels though. Would return again if staying in this area.

Fantastic property and location! Quiet, tucked away right behind the shops in Bowness so great to grab fish and chips takeaway easily! The home had everything you needed, was comfortable and of high quality. When we arrived we weren't sure exactly where to park it's Quarry End, which is right next to 37 Quarry Brow, just go up the hill and it's near the end of hte left! hth. Would definitely return.

We really enjoyed our stay, cottage very clean and Janet has provided everything you could possibly need for your stay. Great location near to shops, lake and a good selection of pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this cottage and are already planning to return!

Quarry End was a lovely place to stay. It was comfortable, clean and modern with everything you could need. Ideal location for exploring the area, lots of places to eat and drink. Having a place to park the car was an added bonus. In fact we only went out in the car once as we walked and used the ferry and cruises to visit different places. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Well appointed, elegantly furnished, comfortable and in an excellent position relative to the town. Will come again.

Property is well maintained and fabulously clean. Well situated for restaurants, bars, walks and short walk to piers and bus routes. Possibly needs another standard settee if more than 2 adults are holidaying as 2nd sofa is too low. Overall a lovely holiday home and would stay again.

Quarry End was everything we wanted and more! My wife and I spent 7 nights here and found to be excellent. It was very fresh, spotlessly clean, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. Really, it has everything you could ask for. The kitchen is superb and the smart TV was a nice touch as we were able to watch a few movies on Netflix in the evenings as the nights are now drawing in. It is situated at the end of a quiet culdesac with pedestrian routes to shops and restaurants only a couple of minutes walk away. It really is so handily placed for getting into Bowness town and of course Lake Windermere. Janet was really helpful and there to answer any questions that we needed answers to when we needed them. We travelled to the lakes in an electric car and although there were places not far away to charge, Janet allowed us to use her 7KW charger and we paid her for her costs to do so. Really convenient and very thoughtful of Janet to allow us to do this. I'd thoroughly recommend Quarry End if you are looking for somewhere to stay in the area. We'll be back again soon!

The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed and more. Lovely welcome from Janet with a plate of tiffin and milk in the fridge. Clean and well looked after property. We booked Quarry End for our honeymoon. We were not disappointed. Location is fantastic just a minute's walk from the main street, but tucked away in a quiet road. The accommodation itself was excellent. It was immaculately clean, the fixture and fittings were all very high spec and it had absolutely everything we needed. We highly recommend.

Superb location. Was met by the owner who gave us a warm welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Accommodation was outstandingly clean and equipped. Would recommend this accommodation to anyone wanting to stay in Bowness.
