This place looks stunning! Very modern and cosy at the same time. The hosts went out of their way to give us plenty of helpful tips. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily return for another visit!

We spent a fantastic long weekend at this cosy house. It had everything we needed and was in a lovely, peaceful spot close to Bowness on Windermere, with plenty to do nearby. When we needed a bit of help, the staff responded swiftly, which was really reassuring. Overall, we'd definitely recommend it for a relaxing getaway!

Really enjoyed the stay-clean, cosyand peaceful. The 15-minute walk to town was perfect. Beds were super comfyand the cinema was a bonus!

Honestly, Maison on Windermere was just perfect for our getaway. From the moment we arrived, it was spotless and looked just like the photos - actually better! The decor in each room was really tasteful, giving it a luxurious feel without being stuffy. We especially loved the cinema room for cosy eveningsand with the weather holding up, we made full use of the hot tub and gardens. Eating outside one evening was a real treat. The kitchen had everything you'd need for a family stayand the living room was super comfy for everyone to hang out. Each bedroom was unique, with en-suites that included two massive jacuzzi baths and one with a gorgeous free-standing tub. The location was spot on - just a short walk to a couple of nice restaurants and bars, then a bit further into the town centre where there's no shortage of places to eat or drink. We had an amazing weekend and can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved this place! The location is perfect, just a short stroll along a lovely path to Bowness centre, away from busy roads. Right across from the marina, there's a fantastic bar and restaurant which was handy. The house was spotless, with comfy beds and stylish decor throughout. We enjoyed the hot tub and home cinema for cozy evenings in. Parking was no trouble at all, which is a real bonus. We stayed with four adults, a 2-year-oldand a newbornand it suited us perfectly. Definitely a place we'd return to-highly recommended for anyone heading to the lakes!

We had a wonderful stay! After reading some reviews about cobwebs, we were a bit worried, but the place was spotless. The location is perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to Bowness through the marina carpark. The kids loved the cinema room and hot tub-definitely a place with real wow factor!

We had a lovely stay overall, but it was a bit frustrating trying to find glasses since they were scattered everywhere. Putting them all in one cupboard would make things much easier! Cheers!

We had an incredible stay here for a 50th birthday with family. The location is perfect - only a short walk into Bowness, which was handy. The house itself is well-equipped, with a lovely kitchen and a cinema room that we loved. The furnishings are really plush, especially the bedrooms and bathrooms. Everything was spot on. We'd definitely recommend it and are already thinking about coming back sometime soon!

The house is in a fantastic spotand we loved the cosy lighting and the hot tub - such a treat! The big baths were a hitand the cinema room was a nice surprise. We had an amazing weekend, definitely would come back!

Honestly, we expected a bit more given the price and the marketing. The place looked a bit tired, with dust and cobwebs lurking around, especially under beds and near the bathrooms. There were quite a few spiders and plenty of finger marks on the glass doors, which was a bit off-putting. Some of the electric blinds didn't work, so we couldn't open them, which was frustrating. The TV and speakers in bedroom 2 were also out of order. It's in a lovely spot, but it definitely needs a good tidy-up and some updates. For the money, we thought it could have been a lot cleaner and better maintained overall.
