Absolutely stunning place to stay, spacious and lovely presented. Location is amazing for Bowness and is a very short walk to all bars and restaurants as well as the lake front. Would highly reccomend and we will definitely stay here again.

Lovely little cottage, very well presented, clean and warm. Kitchen well equipped with everything necessary and lots of cutlery and crockery. Comfy lounge with plenty of space to spread out and watch a good film after being out and about all day. Beds all very comfortable and everyone slept well. Nice big bath, which we didn't use, and two showers, which were easy to use and had good pressure - watch though as water runs very hot. Around 5mins walk to main street leading to lots of different shops and restaurants and about 10mins to the lake. Have not been to this part of the UK for many years and very much enjoyed our short break to The Lakes.

Little Close is the best holiday cottage we have stayed in in the UK. The location is great - quiet but within walking distance of the shops, cafes bar etc. The house itself is tastefully decorated throughout and homely. We loved the kitchen opening onto the patio for summer. The cottage was well equipped. The owners have thought of every little detail and comfort. Mr Martin was extremely helpful with the few questions I had. We would highly recommend this cottage.

Really lovely the house, well decorated, kitchen had all we needed. Games and xbox were additional bonus especially when you coming with kids and the weather is not what you've hoped for. Its just a few steps from the town centre, probably 10-15min walls downhill to the pier. Parking spot just behind the house. Can absolutely recommend this cottage and definitely will be back here.

Little Close is one of the loveliest places Iâ??ve ever stayed. Itâ??s incredibly cosy, beautifully decorated and spacious. Thereâ??s ample storage available, the kitchen, bathrooms and all other common areas are well equipped and have everything you could possibly need available (including a very good range of board games I might add!), and it genuinely felt like a â??home away from home.â? Location wise, you couldnâ??t be closer to the centre of Bowness which is amazing for walking in and getting around, but the house remains so quiet - you wouldnâ??t even know you were that close. If you need a peaceful, comfortable and all around lovely break away I couldnâ??t recommend somewhere more. Itâ??s definitely somewhere Iâ??m coming back to!
