Lodge was lovely. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable It had everything you would need. Will book this lodge again

We did have a lovely stay apart from a few issues. Nice location and setting of the lodge along with a nice balcony. Great that there is a small shop on site and a pub, some good walking routes nearby. The main issue was that it was not to a clean standard. Loads of cobwebs and dust and stained bed sheets they'd been washed but stained, which was not great. The kitchen facilities were also not good, no baking tray to cook food which was raised on the first night but nothing was rectified. Frying pan and utensils needed upgrading. These issues were disappointing and that's it was not to basic standards having paid for a clean accommodation. I understand that this may not be the owners fault as may be unaware but having raised this, hopefully standards would be improved for other guests.

Very impressed with the facilities and cleanliness of the lodge. The park itself is a little remote but the onside facilities pub & shop were very good so provided you have a vehicle it is excellent.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Hill Lodge , the property was very clean and comfortable, though lacking a full loo roll which should have been provided. The holiday park is great with a large dog walking field down by the river. The views are amazing, and we would definitely go there again.

The lodge was lovely and clean, I know this lodge is pet friendly upon booking however the smell of dog was very over powering for the first day the towels even smelt of dog. The radiators did not work in the bedrooms or bathroom however this did not put a downer on the stay. Did report them to be fixed would visit again

Had a lovely stay at Hill lodge, very homely and relaxed with everything provided you could need for a self catering stay. Would recommend for a couple or family with small children and dogs, verandah fully enclosed so all felt very secure. Only negative was the site shop wasnt open late enough or have enough variety of stock but didnt really detract from stay and obviously out of control of lodge owners. Would book again if holidaying in that part of the lakes.

Lovely lodge only one criticism, one toilet roll for a week is pretty poor everywhere else we have stayed provided at least three .
