Valley View Lodge is a spacious and beautifully presented lodge situated in the Wansfell area of Limefitt Park. The lodge backs onto a woodland area and enjoys breath-taking views of the surrounding fells. Valley View Lodge is a bright and airy lodge which is a perfect welcome retreat after a day hiking or sightseeing. The open plan living area offers a great place for all of the family to plan the next days activities. This unique lodge sleeps five people with a single third bedroom. The outside space has a great decking area with outdoor seating, perfect for outdoor dining in the warmer months. Limefitt Park is based in the Troutbeck Valley, only four miles from Windermere village, a bustling vibrant centre with shops, pubs and cafes; or a mile further on to Bowness with steam cruises, restaurants and shops. Back at Limefitt, you have two great local pubs in walking distance, there’s a pub and small shop on site too. On the other side of the valley is Wansfell Pike and over to Ambleside. Driving to Ambleside is around four miles, and Glenridding the village on the shores of Ullswater is ten miles away.
