Limefitt Park has an adventure playground, zipwire, pony trekking and a river pool on site. The lodge provides a travel cot and has children's plastic crockery in the kitchen. Windermere, Bowness and the World of Beatrix Potter are all within 5 miles.

For Couples

The king-size master bedroom with double en-suite shower and fell views from the decking makes this a solid choice for couples. The Haybarn Inn is two minutes on foot. Windermere, Ambleside and Bowness are all within 5 miles for meals, boat trips and evening walks.

Pet Friendly

Valley View Lodge does not accept pets. This is a park-wide rule at Limefitt Park and applies to all guests. If you are travelling with a dog you will need to look at an alternative property.

Does this cottage have a hot tub?

Valley View Lodge does not have a hot tub. The lodge does have a large decking area with outdoor furniture and outstanding views of the surrounding fells and valleys.

Is it pet friendly?

No pets are allowed at Valley View Lodge. This is a park-wide rule and applies to all guests staying at Limefitt Park.

How many people does Valley View Lodge sleep?

The lodge sleeps five guests across three bedrooms. There is a king-size master, a twin room and a single bedroom.

What bedrooms and bathrooms are available?

The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an en-suite double shower room. There is also a family bathroom with a full-size bath and shower serving the twin and single bedrooms.

Is the lodge suitable for families with young children?

A travel cot is provided and fits in both the master bedroom and the single bedroom. Guests should bring their own highchair as one is not provided on site.

What kitchen facilities are available?

The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric double oven, gas hob, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and microwave. Guests have praised the wide range of pots, pans, utensils and crockery including children's plastic plates and cups.

Is there parking at the lodge?

There is one off-road parking space at the lodge. Electric vehicle charging is not permitted at the lodge itself but the nearest charging point is at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

What on-site facilities are available at Limefitt Park?

The park has a pub, small shop, adventure playground, dog walking area, picnic area and pony trekking. A zipwire is available and may incur an additional fee. Communal facilities are managed by Park Dean Resorts and may be subject to availability.
