Very happy with the cottage but not happy with Sykes. Left several messages and have not received a callback regarding lost property. Finally spoke to someone when I got through and they'd finished passing me around, and they confirmed that nobody had been in the cottage since we left, so my property should still be there. Nobody has called me since. Bit disappointed really, and I'm sure that the owner would expect better service.
Lovely cottage in a great location. Easy on street parking. Cottage was well presented extra TV room on second floor was a definite hit with our children. Clean totally enclosed back yardgarden for our dog. We wouldn't hesitate to book another holiday. The only criticism would be that both Sofas are a little tired and it would probably benefit from them being replaced.
The property bellflower cottage was very nice indeed In a super location for the east and north of Windermere. The shower was excellent and towels large enough to be useful. Garden was fully secure if you had any dogs and all amenities were at hand. I would absolutely choose the cottage again and probably will.

Good property in a central location. Rooms really nice esoecially the mail bedroom and bathroom. Tv in lounge needs replacing poor quality picture and the back yard could do with some tlc, apart from that all good.
Excellent location to stay for walking and facilities. Shame the pub around the corner was closed hopefully will reopen soon . Great place for dogs to stay but could do with stair gate or door at the bottom of the stairs Shower leaking when arrived, and the bathroom floor was wet due to the leek. We reported this and Sykes maintenance came around straight away but couldnt fix it and are aware of the problem. The tv downstairs had very poor quality definition and probably needs replacing. Really lovely cottage with excellent choice of bars, cafes, takeaways and shops. Easy parking and quiet street.

We absolutely loved our stay at beautiful Bellflower Cottage! Perfect location and the perfect size for us. The bedrooms are large with lots of storage and the place was spotless when we arrived. My only negative would be the sofas are not the most comfortable but this is probably just a personal preference. Would 100 still recommend as a place to stay and would love to come back!

The cottage is exactly as pictured on website and is beautiful. The snug was upstairs so a little different to what I initially thought. The cottage is well located between the Lake at Bowness and Windermere. The kitchen was well equipped and there were even condiments in the cupboard. A real home from home feeling. The shower started dripping during our stay and I contacted Skyes just so they could let the owners know so it could be sorted for the next guests, however it was fixed straight away. Maintainance guys arrived very promptly and sorted it. I definitely recommend this cottage and will return again.

Beautiful property, 2 bedroom terrace but so spacious. Kids loved their 3rd floor bedroom. Nice and quiet area but 1 minute walk from good pub and only 5 mins from centre of Windermere. Minor things to feedback on. 1. As mentioned in a previous review water takes a long time to drain when having a shower. No big issue though. 2. Main bedroom could do with a blind not much privacy from the laundry business across road. 3. Parking whilst yes there is plenty of on street parking I never got our car anywhere near the property. None of the above detracted from a beautiful stay and wouldnt put us off booking bell flower again.
The cottage was perfect for me, my husband and our dog! Liked the way it had been furnished and equipped. Appreciated the good quality bed linen and Denby crockery. Great to have a washing machine, fridgefreezer and dishwasher, and the water pressure and heat of the shower were both excellent. Only minor maintenance issue was that water drained slowly from the bath, which may need addressing. Cottage was very clean. Such a great location, a short walk from Windermere but on a quiet residential street. Wonderful walks aplenty, within a short walk, bus ride or drive. Could definitely manage at this cottage without a car as it is close to the train station too. Very much recommend Banditos Burritos and Tapios tapas for food

We had such a wonderful stay at the cottage. Its a beautiful and really spacious property and in a fantastic location you can do some great walks right from the doorstep! It was really well equipped and super clean. The enclosed garden was ideal too for our dog. We wouldnt hesitate to recommend the property and we look forward to returning!

Great central location , lots of space for us and felt like a home from home , we wouldnt hesitate to stay here again in the near future.
This was a lovely well equipped cottage. It was perfectly situated within 10 mins walk of the centre of the village. Parking was on the street but we never had a problem finding a space. The only problems we had was that the dish washer did not work, there did not seem to be any water flowing to it and also one of the dining room chairs seemed to be falling apart. None of the these detracted from our stay though and we would certainly go back.
Bellflower Cottage is a really wonderful place to stay. The cottage is beautifully decorated, the rooms are very spacious and clean. Its in a perfect location and is walking distance to Bowness. We loved our stay and would definitely book again.
