We loved the amount of living space there was, which was really useful for 5 adults staying in the property. The kitchen was well equipped, with lots of space to store our food, and we appreciated the welcoming gifts left by the owner. The ensuite bedroom was a little cramped both bedroom and the bathroom, but perfectly adequate. There weren't many instructions re checking out, in terms of if we needed to do anything with the bedding, towels or rubbish, so trusted they would be taken care of when the property was cleaned. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Thank you for a wonderful stay over New Year. The property is so much better than the photos on the website. Chocolates and Prosecco were welcome gifts from the owners. Bungalow is lovely and warm, kitchen well equipped and main bathroom was spacious. Extra lounge off the ensuite bedroom was really useful for the grandchildren to chill out. Would definitely stay again.

We've stayed at Mylnebeck Lodge many times. It's so homely and comfortable with everything you need. The location is perfect for shops, pubs and restaurants.

Property clean with everything needed for a relaxing stay. Only the steep driveway marred our stay due to knee problems!

Another great stay. The bungalow is clean, comfortable and spacious. All needs catered for. Have already recommended to family and friends and will continue to do so. Property is in a great location, with pubs, restaurants, shops anf of course the lake within walking distance. Being near to good bus routes, means you don't always need the car to go further afield. Love this place.

This is our third stay at Mylnbeck and already booked again for next year. Fantastic property. Warm and homely. Got everything that you need. No need to move car, bus stops close by and half way between Windermere and Bowness so easy to walk to.

Mylnebeck is a wonderful little bungalow situated in between Windermere and Bowness, in easy walking distance of both. Four of us stayed and had a fantastic stay. Everything we needed and a real home from home. Clean, tidy and comfortable with little extras that helped to make our stay even more enjoyable. We will definitely be staying here again next time we are in the lakes.

Mylnebeck Lodge is ideally placed between the town of Windermere and Bowness by the lake. Our family had a memorable stay, the property was clean and well furnished with all the amenities we could want. We are highly likely to book again and would recommend.

The property is situated in a convenient location. It is a decent size property, it is modern, clean and very comfortable. It is fully equipped. It has a big living room and it also has an additional smaller, cosy living room with a very comfortable sofa, TV and additional hanging space for clothes. We would recommend Mylnebeck lodge and we are hoping to book another stay soon.

I booked this cottage for four elderly ladies they certainly enjoyed the comfort, space, the location, the convenience of off road parking, and gave many superlatives about the decor and style of Mylnebeck Cottage, a great place to come home to every evening, many thanks to the owner.

Our 3rd stay at this cottage and it's been improved and extended there was only two of us but a family of 6 would be very comfortable. It is in walking distance of Bowness and Windermere. We will be booking it again.

Property is perfect, excellent heating and comfort levels. Ideally located between Windermere and Bownessonwindermere too. First time here and wont be the last.

Love everything about Mylnbeck Lodge. Very convenient for walking into Bowness and Windermere. Also very close to bus stop so no need to move car. Very clean ,warm and welcoming. Feels like home. This is our 2nd stay. Hopefully be back 2024

Beautiful bungalow, very clean and loads of room for the family to spread out in, probably the nicest holiday place we have stayed in. Loved all the tvs and how modern it was. It was in a great location about 12 mins into bowness and near loads of great restaurants. The owner was great, we had a problem with wasps which he sorted out very promptly which was much appreciated especially as it was a bank holiday weekend.

A huge thank you to Malc for a lovely stay in his property. The location couldn't be better, in between windermere town centre and Bowness. Each room had its own unique design which myself, my wife and 6 month old son loved. We also appreciated the welcome chocolates and drink which greeted us upon arrival, they soon vanished! After a long drive, we were welcomed to Mylnebeck Lodge, immaculately presented, very comfortable, warm and cosy, every convenience catered with nothing lacking, including a massive amount of offroad parkinga definite luxury for WindermereBowness. The quality of the accommodation is exceptional, a very enjoyable holiday made very pleasant by returning to Mylnebeck Lodge in the evenings. Many thanks to the owner for the welcome pack, very generous of you indeed. We are booking this cottage again in October for our Autumn break, and have recommended it to all our friends.

We have just returned from a 3 day break and had a lovely time! The bungalow is deceptively spacious with the added bonus of a second lounge! We are a family of 5 and the children loved it, they wanted to stay for longer. Ive recommended this place to all my friends. The location is ideal half way between Windermere and Bowness, roughly a 10 minute walk either way. Thank you!

Spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. Parking right next to the door was great for my husband, whose not very able bodied, hence choosing a bungalow. Bed was comfy and lovely walk in shower. Some nice Christmas touches and a lovely gift of Prosecco and chocolates from our attentive owner. Would definitely book again.

Our second visit and hopefully not our last. The property is very comfortable and clean. You relax the moment you go through the front door. Kitchen well equipped. Beds comfortable. Lounge well set up. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely bungalow and has everything you need for a great holiday. Its warm and very cosy, plus its in a great position. The only down side for me was that despite the pictures looking like its flat around the bungalow the drive is quite steep, that said it wouldn't put me off from visiting again.

Better than expected, very clean and felt at home. Love the position with easy acces to Bowness and Windermere. Bus stop nearly on doorstep so no need to use car. Would love to return but dates we need not available for next year.

Mylnebeck Lodge feels like it is our home from the moment we arrive until the moment we leave. We have loved our stay there again from 280922 until 090922. Thank you for providing such a beautiful property for us to enjoy our stay in The Lakes. We will be returning in the future.

What a terrific lodge! Great facilities, spacious, clean with some great additional touches such as DVDs, Prosecco & chocolates. The location is excellent and an easy walk to Windermere and Bowness. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

We found the property to be clean, spacious,comfortable and perfect for our needs. Its location between Windermere and Bowness was ideal, as were the parking facilities. The complimentary Prosecco and chocolates was a nice and welcome gesture. The only disappointment was the week passed too quickly. Would definitely recommend.

Beautiful bungalow, spotlessly clean, very welcoming. The bungalow is situated between Bowness and Windermere, both within easy walking distance. There were numerous cafes and restaurants to chose from and we found the people very friendly. So central for travelling round the Lake District, but we didnt use the car very much, as everything we needed was right on the doorstep. When we come back to the Lake District, there is only one place we would chose to stay.

Lovely property the owners had thought of everything you would need for a home from home. Excellent location too we didnt use the car all weekend! Thank you for a fantastic break.
