Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre is 500 yards away with an adventure playground, Tree Top Trek and boat hire. The park has its own children's playground, amusement arcade, water walkerz and kids' disco. The lodge has a travel cot and highchair plus a board games cupboard.
For Couples
The lodge has a kingsize bedroom with ensuite shower room and patio doors opening onto a private deck surrounded by woodland. The Boathouse Bar and Restaurant is a two-minute walk. Windermere town is 1.9 miles away and Bowness with its lakeside restaurants and boat hire is just 3 miles. Quiet and private.
Pet Friendly
Lakeshaven is dog friendly. Dog bowls, leads, poo bags and treats are provided at the lodge. There is a paw and boot cleaning area outside. Dogs must stay on leads at all times and cannot be left alone in the lodge. No dogs under 6 months old are permitted.

Does this cottage have a hot tub?
Lakeshaven does not have a private hot tub. The park does have a jacuzzi available onsite at White Cross Bay, though a complex pass purchased from reception is required for access.
Is it pet friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Lakeshaven. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times and cannot be left alone in the lodge no dogs under 6 months old are permitted.
How many does Lakeshaven sleep?
The lodge sleeps up to 6 guests across three bedrooms a kingsize, a double and a twin. There is also space for one infant in a travel cot which fits in the master bedroom only.
What facilities does the park have?
White Cross Bay has an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, bar and restaurant, children's adventure playground, amusement arcade and a multi-sports court. A complex pass from reception is required for most facilities.
Is there parking at the lodge?
Yes, there is off-road parking for two cars directly at the lodge. Electric vehicle charging is not available at the lodge the nearest EV charge point is at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.
How close is Lake Windermere?
The lodge is on the shores of Lake Windermere with the water just 0.1 miles away. Bowness boat landings are 3 miles and Windermere town is 1.9 miles from the park.
Is the lodge accessible?
The lodge is accessed via 7 shallow steps and there is one step up to the kitchen area. The ground immediately around the lodge is steep so caution is advised all main living areas are on a single storey.
Is WiFi available?
Complimentary WiFi is provided by White Cross Bay park. It is suitable for general browsing and emails but is not reliable enough for gaming, streaming or business use. Bookings cannot be accepted from guests solely reliant on uninterrupted internet access.
