Excellent accomodation near to Windermere and Bowness. Photos were accurate. Someone has already mentioned the stairs to the second floor being steep and needing care, not suitable for those with mobility issues . Parking outside was easy. The garden wasn't used due to the cold ( but sunny) weather in November. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Steve

This is a charming cottage, very warm and cosy, there is plenty of space for 5 adults. The parking although on the road was never a problem. The location is excellent, it's within easy walking distance of Windermere and Bowness. Thank you.

Wonderful house - we felt as if we had been welcomed in to someone's lovely comfortable home, such was the quality of the fixtures and fittings, and the atmosphere. All of us settled in and relaxed quickly, and - importantly - all of us slept very well (unusually).

Brookside is very well equipped, comfortable, cosy and warm. The interior decor and furnishings are of a very high standard and very much in keeping with the property itself, which is delightful. The location is ideal being both convenient for the town and its amenities but also quiet.

This cottage is lovely, stayed with family, great to walk into Windermere 5 mins turning left out of the door or Bowness around 15/20 min stroll so you can leave the car. Parking on the street, we always found a place. Well equipped, good facilities & just loved the garden

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Brookside cottage. Set next to the beautiful beck (which had already won us over when we booked), nothing disappointed, even the weather was kind to us. The cottage is ideally located within easy reach of Windermere and Bowness, and a short drive to lots picturesque walks and local attractions. A memorable family holiday, we will certainly aim to return one day!

Great location for walking into both Windermere and Bowness, the cottage was spacious enough for a family of five, and the on-street parking always had a space available nearby.

Fabulous cottage loved it so much, very high quality fittings. The tub of Christmas chocolates and the bottle of wine was a lovely touch. Location was very good as well would definitely return to this cottage
