I loved my stay at Alexandra Road for a week. Amazing location, walking distance to both Windermere and Bowness. Great space in the house for multiple people and dogs. The garden in the summer would be amazing as well. Would definitely book again if I was staying in Windermere!

This property was in the perfect location in a very quiet street . Just a short walk to Windermere and a pleasant approx 1mile walk to Bowness. The property was very clean and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.

Really gorgeous cottage and perfect location. Only tiny thing was there didnt seem to be a bath plug! Easily resolved by buying a travel one which we did! Would definitely return !!

We had a lovely stay at 2 Alexandea Road. The cottage had everything we could possibly need for our weeks stay and was comfortable and clean. Situated perfectly for access to Windermere and surrounding areas. Highly recommended.

Great location, beautiful cottage with everything you need well equipped kitchen with highend appliances loved the large fridge freezer freezer with the water & ice machine comfortable beds with great shower. Lovely enclosed private garden we will definitely book again.

Lovely home in the perfect area!

A really lovely place to stay with everything well thought out and everything you need for a great stay. The property was a lovely. A great location to walk to Bowness or Windermere a pub round the corner and shops pubs and restaurants a short walk away. Highly recommend.

Another wonderful stay! This is our second visit and won't be our last. We love how the owners recognise that a cottage can be super dog friendly but still high end for humans. Like others, we wash the crockery before use and this time I needed to rinse dog hairs not ours out of the bath so it would be great if the cleaners could check these things between guests. Plenty of on street parking immediately outside, enclosed patio is secure for dogs and a wonderful sun trap even in early March!

First time staying here and WOW what an amazing little find. Great stay had by all, house is lovely and cozy with the best beds ever and ideal location to Windemere and to Bowness!!. Will 100 recommend to anyone!

We had an absolutely amazing stay here for the week. The house is beautiful and clean with everything you could need. The beds are so comfortable, something I always struggle with when going away. The large roomy kitchen was great and the cosy living room was lovely after a chilly day on the fells. We definitely hope to return.

Absolutely fantastic property. Everything you could need including comfy beds, well appointed sitting room and kitchen. Felt like home immediately and the location between Windermere and Bowness gives you great shopping, eating and vistas all within walking distance. Very quiet location with easy parking. Highly recommended and next time we visit The Lakes well definitely stay here again.

Fabulous location and a wonderful property. Lovely open plan living area, light and spacious bedrooms, located in a quiet residential area a few minutes walk from the town centre.

Lovely house and central for all amenities. The cleaning of the house was poor especially in the living room with dog hairs on the furniture and carpet

The property was gorgeous! Plenty of room with a lovely outside area and most importantly very comfy beds! The only downside was the one bathroom, we didnt realise how much frustration this would cause when booking, but one toilet when 6 people are trying to get ready in the morning was difficult. Other than that a lovely weekend with family in a great location.

Great stay comfortable in a good area

Absolutely loved this cottage. We've stayed in numerous cottages in both Bowness and Windermere and this was one of the best. Great location, facilities and super comfortable for the two of us and pooches. There were some significant cleanliness issues upon arrival but we reported these to Sykes immediately and overall, it didn't affect our stay. We'll definitely be back.

This is a beautifully decorated house, it had everything we wanted and more, it looks even better in person than the pictures. The kitchen is very well equipped and has all that's needed. The house is very clean and so comfortable. We spent the best 5 days here and will definitely return. Thank you.

Absolutely beautiful place all mod cons and more, beds so comfortable. Great base for sightseeing it was lovely. Was disappointed that the fridge freezer was broke but reported it and they gave us a replacement, just a bit on the small side for a family of four xxxxx

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! The property was finished to a very high standard with three good sized bedrooms, kitchendining room and cosy lounge area. The under floor heating was an added bonus didnt realise the property had this until we got there, making life a lot easier when coming in from the wet and cold. The kitchen was well equipped including added extras such as an ironing board, radio, washing machine and tumble dryer plus a variety walking books to help decide where to go. The property is in a great location too with Windermere just 5 minutes walk away and Bowless only 15 mins walk. Both offering a nice selection of restaurants. This was our first visit to the Lake District, with lots of lovely walks for us and the dog to enjoy, and definitely wont be our last. Thanks again for a lovely property. Apologies for the late review.

Perfect property in great location for exploring everything we needed and more

This is a really lovely cottage in a great location. We had a fabulous few days staying there with our kids everyone loved it. The house is well equipped and very clean and tidy. Everyone commented on how comfy the beds are!! The only minor thing that I thought could be improved is that it would be nice to have a welcome pack of essentials. And some instructions for the induction hob as I struggled to get it to work!!!
