Brilliant stay, perfect location, loads of room, everything bob on! !

Stayed here before will stay again. Well equipped, clean, comfortable accommodation. Nice touches with Christmas decorations.

This is a high spec apartment right in the heart of Bow Ness. Very spacious and cosy.

We've stayed here before and we're already booked to stay again. The property is impeccable and the small touches such as the Christmas decorations and a well equipped kitchen are really appreciated. The location is great and we really cannot fault it.

Wonderful apartment, more suited to adults, Ample parking, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable and warm. Located up two flights of stairs, with wonderful view over the rooftops.

We had a week at this beautiful apartment with sweeping views across Bowness towards Lake Windemere and on to the hills and mountains beyond. Looking out over the view was a great way to start and end the day, and provided an instant weather update! The apartment was spotlessly clean, very well furnished and presented, and with a well resourced kitchen. It was a joy to stay here and provided a comfortable space to relax and unwind. We very much look forward to staying here again some time in the future.

A lovely apartment, clean, well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed are stay, great location to walk to shopsrestaurants. Great to have private parking. Couple of improvements would suggest are curtains in the bedroom. Additionally, I would personally rather have a washing machinetumble dryer than a dishwasher. Especially if going hiking and staying for longer. Would benefit from a clothes airier to dry wet clothes. Thank you for a lovely holiday. Hopefully can stay again in the near future and would highly recommend.

This is a review of Tethera that is somewhat delayed! But as we are about to have our third holiday here from the 10th to the 17th November then it shows we are thrilled with the property. Our first week was in November 2023, our second was in June 2024 and this one in November 2024 will be our third. We most definitely recommend the property. Location wise it is perfect. So central to the best parts of Bowness centre so it could not be easier to choose whether to take out the car or just remain on footpublic transport and additionally makes the oh so taxing choice of eating in or out very flexible at short noticeon a whim. Designated offroad parking in the Lake District is a gem in itself and here there is visitor permits on top. The property internally, is immaculate. The master bedroom is outstanding, large, tons of storage, good quality furniture and be sure to find the camping chairs in the wardrobe. And other hidden treasures such as surplus blankets perfect for those AutumnalWinter times. The property is definitely on the spacious side so you can easily eat sat at the tablebreakfast bar, play games on the table in the large window area and then move to the cosy sofas with blankets to watch TV. There's a selection of books and games too if you don't remember to pack your own. The cleaners do an exceptional job and the place has been spotless on each of our visits. Absolute stars! We still rate it full marks because this is just our personal preference because the only thing we would change is a washing machinedryer instead of a dishwasher. But that is just personal preference for how we live that it's more beneficial to be able to wash dirty walking trousers over the need to fill a dishwasher. Furthermore, the owners live in Essex and on our first visit, last November the broadbandrouter was not working. After making contact, the owner drove all the way up to Bowness, fixed it while we were out and not only that but when we returned there was also a kind gesture of locally sourced gifts. This was over and above and much appreciated. The speed of the response to the issue and the solution provided was exceptional.

Beautiful apartment very conveniently placed in the lovely town of Bowness with lots of restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.

What an absolutely gorgeous property. My husband and I loved it. Very spacious apartment with top quality furnishings and accessories. Excellent position for everything in Bowness plenty of pubs , restaurants, shops and the beautiful lake and cruises. Thank You a great week with good weather.

Second stay in the Tethera. We love this apartment! It is clean, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy the stay. Great views from the living room. Parking easy with space for a visitor if needed, and you can't beat the location in the middle of Bowness. Thanks to Sharon who was very helpful and gave us a call to let us know the apartment was ready earlier than expected great service! Highly recommended we will be back.

Three quick negatives no cafetiere, no washing machine should possibly be flagged up more, absolutely not an issue for us however, and the flat was cold when we arrived. This didn't give a good first impression, but once the heating was on it stayed warm and cosy all week. Those are little things though, overall we loved the flat. Great location, easy parking, lovely view of fells a bit of Windermere from the dining table. The size of the flat is great, it's very well furnished, and it has a great shower very important after a day's walking.

It was a really nice apartment and we would definitely stay there again. However there were a couple of oversights by the cleaning staff. Firstly, the water in the bathroom sink was not emptying so I removed the plug and found a massive clump of hair and soap scum. Once this was cleared it emptied properly. The second thing was the half empty bottle of apple juice and the 4 week out of date bottle of milk in the fridge. This made me wonder how clean the kitchen was and as I have a germ phobia it led me to do a thorough clean. Also there were a lot of dirty crockery in the cupboards. Just think the cleaning staff need to be a bit more thorough.

We have just returned from a lovey relaxing stay at Tethera, we have stayed here many times and cannot wait to return. The apartment is spotless and has everything that you need, it is right in the heart or Bowness so easy access to pubs, shops and restaurants. The apartment was very nicely furnished to a high standard. It is a pity the second bedroom is small. It was very clean. The kitchen was equipped with all the necessary equipment apart from oven gloves. The information in the folder said press the blue booster button on the towel rail, we did several times but nothing happened. That was a pity as wet towels were a problem. The instructions for the key safe should be more explicit as we thought our flat was at the front of the building like the photo on the information Ann Thompson

Gorgeous property, ideal for 2 adults and 2 children as 2nd bedroom is quite small. Everywhere else very spacious, clean and modern though. Up a steep hill so no good for people who struggle with walking inclines but very central and only a very short walk into village walk back seems longer!. Great that there is easy parking and so much to do nearby. The views from the livingdining room were beautiful too.

This was wonderful for us. We loved the view, the large bedroom and the big living room. My only suggestions would be 1. The cleaner needs to go under the beds and settees where there was a coating of dust. 2. The kitchen bin is slightly broken and will only get worse. We loved it. Thanks.

Wonderful property with nothing to fault. Spotlessly clean with everything you need including well equipped kitchen and brilliant selection of walking booksmaps. Additional things like umbrellas were also provided and a bottle fizz to enjoy! This should be 5 ticks not 4. The location was excellent. Our first family trip to the Lake District and it did not disappoint even though the weather was not great.

Everything was fantastic apart from onething. The 9.30 exit from the property is too early. There is ample time to clean bearing in mind 5.00 pm arrival time. I appreciate it is a deep clean.

Sound transmission between ground floor apartment into Tethera not good. Sound transmission from 2nd floor apartment into Tethera 1st floor totally unacceptable. I do not believe there is any sound absorbing materials used in the floor ceiling meaning that you could hear everything from the apartment above. When you then have noisy people in occupation it is unbearable and I mean unbearable! We therefore could not recommend this property due to the sound issue and would not return ourselves. The fixtures and fittings however were wonderful.

Lovely apartment in central location. It had everything we needed apart from a washing machine,if we had been staying longer than a week we would have struggled. unhappy at 5pm entry from sykes impossible to find a way to get intouch with sykes to discuss.essentially lost first day of holiday and when we left we still had to strip all the beds etc so not sure why do much extra time is required.

Beautiful views from the living room window, comfortably furnished apartment with well equipped kitchen all made for a perfect week stay in the Lake District. Master bedroom has loads of storage space & great showerbath. All restaurants & shops in Bowness within easy walking distance. Perfect place for a couple or family with children.

Fantastic place , beautiful views, very central, so clean and everything we needed , quite area and parking. I would recommend this accommodation 5 star
