It was our fourth stay at Silver birches and it seems like a Home from Home a quiet location and just a short 10 minute walk into town we particularly liked the hot tub. Also very sad to hear that silver birches has been sold so we will be unable to book it for next year

This bungalow was a home from home. It was in a lovely quiet location really close to the centre of Windermere. The bungalow was well furnished, had everything you needed and was spotlessly clean. We would love to revisit this bungalow but noticed it is up for sale and no future bookings can be made on the website, such a shame but l understand the owners wishes.

Set in a lovely quiet, peaceful location and an 8 minute walk to the lovely town of Windermere. We had a wonderful stay at Silver Birches. The bungalow was a great size, very clean with literally everything we needed. The kitchen was really very well equipped. The garden was beautiful and private with a lovely hot tub. We arrived to a lovely bottle of bubbly and milk and biscuits. No negatives at all, the only suggestion would be a fan in the bedrooms. We highly recommend this lovely bungalow and would definitely return. Thank you!

Excellent accommodation, very spacious and clean and everything you need apart from bathsheets, so take your own if you use them. Hot tub could do with a roof over it, so it can still be used when raining. Excellent base for exploring from, visiting other places nearby. Would definitely book this property again. Highly recommend. We love Windermere

This bungalow is the best holiday property we have used. Beautifully laid out, immaculately clean, every dish you could ask for in the kitchen, high quality equipment. Been there twice and never disappointed. The hot tub at the end of a busy day is bliss. Garden spectacular. I cant use enough superlatives for this property.

The property was spotless on arrival. In a great quiet location just a short stroll into Windermere. The addition of the hot tub was really appreciated after hiking the fells. Great communication from the owners to allow us to drop our bags off early. Would highly recommended and already looking to rebook.

This property is first class. From the moment we arrived for our week in the Lake District, we felt at home. Great care had clearly been taken to ensure the property was spotlessly clean and warm on arrival. We really felt this was a home from home, kitchen wonderfully equipped, comfortable furnishings etc. There were some very thoughtful provisions too, such as gowns for the hot tub, this was a lovely touch. Id highly recommend Silver Birches to anyone!
