Pudding Cottage Reviews

Beautiful Cottage in a Perfect Location. We stayed here for a week with our 3 children all under 5 and dog. The directions were spot on, cottage lovely and clean and grounds superb. The provisions within the cottage were more than adequate and helpful for our children. There was a lovely assortment of games, books, DVD's and Xbox games for children of all ages. The grounds are well kept, and the garden lovely and big we really lucked in as the communal garden was unused by anyone else during our stay so had it all to ourselves! All in all, we had a lovely time in The Lakes, and the weather was kind to us. The cottage was fantastic and we would stay here again without hesitation.

This was one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in with lots of thought given to the home away from home facilities, furnishings and decor. It is perfectly located for the visits to the surrounding region and the location of the cottage made for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. We had a wonderful stay at Pudding Cottage and would recommend it to others.

Excellent property
Cannot fault the cottage and its location, sadly other visitors in neighbouring cottages were very loud in the garden right outside the bedroom window until the small hours but this was of no fault of pudding cottage. The cottage is well equipment with everything you could possibly need and some very thoughtful touches! Very comfy beds and the Xbox and toy box was extremely well received by my children! Super cottage! Thank you.
Sandra

Lovely stay at Pudding Cottage for my dads 60th celebrations! Everything was clean, comfortable and the cottage is really warm. It had everything we needed and lots of lovely touches. We would love to come back one day!
Beautiful cottage in a perfect location. Area is quiet and can walk direct out on to the hills with the dog. Buses available from he bottom of the lane to the local towns. The cottage was extremely well maintained with every conceivable kitchen gadget. Large rooms all very comfy and constant hot water. Will definitely be coming back again in the future. Well worth its' 5 star status.

Fantastic property definitely the most wellequipped holiday let weve ever stayed in. A minor issue on arrival was dealt with immediately by the owners great service. We stayed as a family of 4 with a baby and would highly recommend this cottage to anyone!

Lovely property, owners have pretty much thought of everything you could need, set up extremely well for children
We had a great stay in this very comfortable and well equipped cottage. Great location for reaching both Ambleside and Windermere but also other lakes easily accessible. Cottage and location information very useful and plenty of books to suggest suitable activities for all ages. Loved the included Leisure Club membership too, fantastic for a rainy morning with the children. Brockhole playground great.
A really lovely property, beautifully decorated. Location was fantastic close to Brockhole. Will likely revisit.

We had a wonderful stay. An immaculate cottage with everything we could possibly need!
We have just spent Christmas week at Pudding Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. There were 6 adults in our party and we found it spacious, extremely comfortable and very well equipped. The kitchen was very modern and the quality of the utensilscrockery etc. was excellent with absolutely everything provided. Alexa was a real novelty for us we loved her! The cottage is situated in a beautiful location, with ample parking and overlooking lovely grounds at the rear, which we imagine would be wonderful during the summer months. The owners provided a large folder giving detailed information relating to how things work within the cottage, aswell as things to do in the local area, transport, recommendations for eating and local walks from the cottage. Although we did not have a dog or any children, I would highly recommend Pudding Cottage as the facilities provided for both were excellent. Another real bonus for us was the access to Choices gym, which we used 4 times during our stay. The gym facilities were brilliant especially the pool and sauna area. Thank you to the owners a fabulous time was had by all!
