Positives location, nice property, lots of space. Negatives loud generator outside main bedroom, shower was leaking through ceiling which has been mentioned previously by other guests. Bin had no lid. Cleaning needs to be increased as little things such as hair in drain, dirty cups, old sponge for washing up instead of new one. This review would be higher if we didnt have the issue of the leaking shower which was not fixed when we were there.
I will caveat that some of our experience was due to staying during hot weather. We had a lovely stay and the property was very clean and had everything we needed. Appreciated the cupboard space in the kitchen, and had the equipment basics make sure to bring oil. Close to the Windermere high street for places to eat and groceries. Can recommend the walk to the top of Orrest Head which you can do straight from the door. The access to Sky TV was a pleasant bonus. We enjoyed the nearby park we were impressed at how varied and accessible it was for different needs. On street parking but we always got a space near the property. Worth noting that the top bedroom and bathroom get quite hot due to being on the top floor, as well as the kitchen which has no blinds or curtains. The fridges from the convenience store below were quite noisy from the double bedroom but may have been struggling with the heat. But otherwise no disturbances. The duvet in the double is quite thick 13.5 tog so not very suitable for summer weather. Plenty of storage in the double room but less so in the other bedrooms. The curtains are relatively thin so the bedrooms get quite light. The WiFi was fast but occasionally would drop. Overall a great place to stay with a few minor things to be aware of.

Having petbaby gates available is an incredible idea! Congratulations for this. The steps are a bit steep, but not something you could really do about and the mattress on the double bed room was not very comfortable. But overall, the house was clean, tidy and I received a very warm welcome with the bottle of wine on the table. Obviously with a toddler we didn't drink it, don't take it as an offense please. We really appreciate all the love and inclusivity you put into this house.
We had a lovely time staying here with our 1 year old and 4 year old. It was super clean, quiet and nicely furnished. Some reviews mentioned the stairs being steep but this was not an issue for us and stairgates were provided if you wanted. There was even a beautiful park just round the corner. All in all a great stay and would highly recommend.

Very clean and a nice little cottage with s shop next door bonus.

With a little bit more TLC, this could be really nice. Kitchen and living room doors dont close properly, floor and skirtings are separating etc. low ceiling in the second stair case is dangerous. Easy to avoid when coming downstairs but i almost knocked myself out climbing the stairs for the first time, perhaps a cushion of some kind could be added? The shop below does generate noise until 9pm also.

The flat was clean, well equipped, a parking space available in front of the building. The night was quiet and shops and pubs just in walking distance.

Some additional drinks glasses would be useful. The sofas were a bit grubby. Other than these couple of observations everything else met our expectations. The property is well located and near to shopping and facilities. Car parking in the street outside was always available when we needed it.

Not safe for small children. Stairs steep, no stair gates available. This issue was highlighted before by others but hadn't been resolved. Sykes solution was to reimburse us to locate and fit gates after several calls before and during stay, not a positive customer service experience. Not clean, flat is very dusty with old packaging under sofa, we left it cleaner than we found it. Overall presentation was poor, didnt seem to standard of usual Sykes properties we've stayed in. Disappointing. Location was good, nearby park and close to restaurants. However we wouldn't recommend staying here. We left early and spent another night elsewhere.

Very happy with the property. All as described. It is worth mentioning that the stairs to the bathroom and one of the single bedrooms is very steep probably not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or young children. Also the toilet wobbles slightly! We only had a problem parking directly outside one day and we still found somewhere. We had an enjoyable stay at Neland View.
Not great for young children as stairs are steep and no stairgates. Layout made it difficult to shut off stairs. Lots of decorations were moved into storage at the start of our stay!! Generally the place was clean but the shower drainage was very slow and we had to remove a big clump of hair and other debris. It was not possible to tune the TV so had to log into our own TV accounts. Kitchen was and well equipped and the bedrooms were all good sizes. Location was perfect for walking to Windermere Bowness and there is a brilliant park within a 2 minute walk. Didn't have any problems parking outside the property and the shop below was very handy.
Great apartment, new kitchen and bathroom, spacious, quiet and in a very good location for both Windermere and Bowness. We parked outside all week without any issues and there is plenty of free on street availability Im this area.

Nice appartment in excellent location and is walkable to both towns, quiet spot and although parking was on the road we did not have a problem to park on the road on busy bank holiday and school holiday. One thing was missing was blinds on the top floor bedroom.
