Being in the Lake District its stunning, been twice in a year. The cottage was perfect for a girls get away, we didn't want to go out in the evening but rather enjoyed our nights in and having 3 double bedrooms was perfect as there was 3 of us. We may even come back next year!

Lovely property within walking distance to the shops and lake Windermere. Plenty of parking spaces and only 3 minutes taxi ride from the train station. The house was perfect, nice and clean with plenty of amenities. It was a home from home with a lovely welcome basket. I would highly recommend Lingmell House and would love to return.

Lovely house great strolling distance to both Windermere and to Bowness. Clean, comfortable and all amenities for a family of 5. I never get on with holiday cottage beds, but this one was great. Super easy to park on road outside. We read the poor review dated July 2026 the night before we arrived and so were worried we really neednt have been!

Lovely comfortable property Perfect spot for both Windermere and Bowness.

Perfect location, a 15 minute walk to both BownessonWindermere and Windermere. A comfortable, clean, well equipped house. We had a great family holiday. Would recommend and wouldnt hesitate to book again.
