Honeysuckle Cottage Reviews

Just a few things that could have been better. The living space was very dark, not like the pictures on the website. More lighting is needed. The fireplace was very dark, it could have had fairy lights or fake candles. In general there was just not enough light, making the living room a bit dismal. The washing up sponge was well used and needed replacing. The TV remote worked sporadically perhaps the batteries needed changing? There were no welcome items such as a pint of milk or tea bags. Very unusual in a self catering cottage. On the upside the location was great and the mattresses very comfortable.

Great location. Good size bedrooms
Joanna
This cottage is in a great location for trains, buses and shops. We were a bit worried about parking after reading other reviews, because we never drive once we are here just walk or take the bus, but we managed to park over the road later in the day for free. Our only problem was with the lack of sofa seating for eight people, only one of which was a small child. Apart from that the cottage was more than adequate for our needs and very well equipped. It even had more than the obligatory one toilet roll per bathroom which is well appreciated.
