Limefitt Park has a children's play area, outdoor play area, games room, football field and a zip wire (additional fee applies). The lodge has DVDs, books, puzzles and games inside. Lake Windermere is 3.1 miles away and the World of Beatrix Potter in Bowness is 4.1 miles away.

For Couples

Birthwaite Lodge is a strong choice for couples. The private cul-de-sac position means it is quiet and not overlooked. Views from the decking over the Troutbeck Valley are genuinely impressive. The Haybarn pub is on site for dinner without needing to drive. Ambleside and Bowness are both under five miles away.

Pet Friendly

Two dogs are welcome at Birthwaite Lodge. The enclosed veranda keeps dogs secure outside. A dedicated dog walking field is on site. The Haybarn pub on the park is dog-friendly. Dogs must stay on leads at all times and cannot be left alone in the lodge.

Does this cottage have a hot tub?

Birthwaite Lodge does not have a hot tub. The lodge does have an enclosed veranda with outdoor furniture where you can sit and take in the Troutbeck Valley views.

Is it pet friendly?

Yes. Two dogs are welcome at Birthwaite Lodge. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the park and must not be left alone in the lodge.

How many does Birthwaite Lodge sleep?

The lodge sleeps four people across two bedrooms. Bedroom one is a double with an en-suite and bedroom two has two full-size single beds.

Is there parking at the lodge?

Yes. There is off-road parking for two cars directly adjacent to the lodge. Please note that charging electric vehicles at the lodge is not permitted the nearest EV charging point is at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.

What kitchen appliances are available?

The kitchen has a gas hob, electric oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine. There is no dishwasher. Fuel and power are included in the rental cost.

Is WiFi available?

Complimentary WiFi is provided by Limefitt Park and is subject to fair usage guidelines. It is intended for light use such as browsing and emails not for gaming or high-data activities. Quality can vary depending on weather and the number of users on the park network.

What is included in the rental price?

Bed linen, towels, fuel and power are all included. Please bring your own leisure towels. Travel cots and highchairs are not provided so please bring your own if needed.

What facilities are on site at Limefitt Park?

The park has an on-site shop, laundrette, children's play area, games room, outdoor play area, football field, zip wire (additional fee applies) and the Haybarn pub. Access to some off-site leisure facilities is also complimentary, though this is subject to availability and can be withdrawn without financial penalty.
