Also more toilet rolls, please. Recycling was not clear so we had to take it home to recycle. Providing two sets of keys would be good for a property such as this

A beautiful light, airy spacious property. We were a party of 5 but ample room for 8 with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Nb. few steps up to front door. Good parking. Good location only a few minutes walk from bus and rail stations, with Booths supermarket next door. Also few minutes walk to Windermere centre. 1.5 mile walk downhill to Bowness for lake cruises, with regular bus services back up for those who dont wish to walk. Small outside area with table and seating. We also made use of it as a boules pitch! Kitchen well equipped, including cleaning products. Just a few suggestions for owner dustpan please for cleaning cupboard, a larger chopping board or two and a better freezer. A comfortable stay.

A lovely property in an excellent location for shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. Good size accommodation and great to have off street parking for our cars in such a busy town.

Property very dusty. Bathroom skirting board tops especially. Mould in shower tile grouting. Bath towel holed and thin. Stainedmarked pulldown blind and wall near bin. Kitchen unit doors markedstreaky not cleaned. Kitchen dustbin lid inside rusty and dirty. Dead flies in lampshade. All windows needed a clean. No terestial tv chanels on main tv. Cleaning lacked care? Having booked several cottages in the past this was dissapointing for price paid.

Lovely accommodation. Easy access from road, and good parking for three. Nice and clean and thoughtfully filled with almost everything we might have needed. Great location for quick access to train and bus as well as pubs and restaurants. Only small complaint is that a nonstick frying pan would have been very useful.

Lovely property in a good location a short walk from Windermere and about a 25 minute walk to Bowness. Very quiet but in easy reach of buses and railway station. Lovely walk to Orress Head nearby too. Only criticisms was that there were 6 adults and 2 children plus a baby sharing. Neither of the double rooms with single beds had any hanging space for clothes. Also there was only a very small under the counter fridge in the kitchen and a very tiny freezer in the snug area. We have stayed at properties for 8 elsewhere and there has always been a large fridge freezer. We did as advised and ordered an online shop but really struggled to find space to store chilled and frozen food. That said we all enjoyed our stay and went on some beautiful walks, including Aria falls, Tarn How and Wray castle, plus Grasmere, Ambleside and taking the boat and steam train trips with the children.

It's a nice, recently modernised place in a good, quiet location close to Windermere's shops and restaurants, and only a shortish walk from Bowness and the lake. I don't know how it would feel for eight people but for a couple it was a lot of lovely space. A couple of quibbles most places at this price point have a welcome basket milk in the fridge, but all we got was a some washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, and a disposable dishcloth and scourer some nonstick pans would not go amiss in the kitchen But these are just quibbles. We had a good time here, and would book it again.

Perfectly situated for travel by car, walking or using public transport. The house was not our first choice but due to a cancellation on our original choice this seemed to fit our requirements. On arrival it became clear that it was better than we had expected, the property was very clean and one of the best equipped kitchens we've ever had. The space for 4 adults was generous but even at full occupancy I expect it would still feel like there was plenty space. The only slightly less satisfactory thing was the lack of a non slip mat on the bathroom but that's just probably my age and the lack of a darkblackout curtain in the main bedroom but these are inconsequential when stacked against the positives. Would highly recommend a stay at this property.

The cottage was modern, clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The location was perfect as quietly tucked away but still close to the town centre as well as easy access to the main road. If in need of a cottage when we next return to the Lakeswe would certainly stay here again and would recommend this property to friends and family.

As 6 individual adults we were surprised at how roomy the cottage is we never felt on top of each other, lovely, clean and modern and very comfortable beds. We struck lucky choosing this property, it's literally around the corner from the town, very well situated and peaceful. We would definitely recommend this property for a group or family.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in the Lake District. Wysteria Cottage was an excellent place to stay. It looked inviting as we walked in and proved to be very comfortable, clean, well equipped and well situated to walk into Windermere and travel further afield in the area. The only thing we could have done with was a broom. One white oven dish developed deeper cracks as it was being used and now is not really safe to use.

I had to ring on the Friday night as we arrived we then had to Hoover down stairs as the floor was filthy there was a used plaster stuck to the bin, pubic hair on the Mattress protector very unimpressed as we had to check in an hour later than originally advertised due to extra covid cleaning, they sent me a link with a reference to this but heard nothing since please can you chase this up ? This is the second time we have stayed at this wonderful property. Its in a great location and very central for many activities. Definitely recommend booking for a short getaway or a long trip. We stayed for 5 nights and it was like a home away from home. We cant wait to book and stay again.

Beautiful place, very comfortable and ideal location to be close to shops and restaurants and definitely worth a walk up to Orrest view, only about 25min walk away, which was stunning. We would suggest as an improvement, a welcome pack of at least tea and coffee for on arrival. We also felt the cleanliness could be improved slightly, with better attention to detail. As a group of 8 Adults we had enough space to relax and enjoy our time away. Location is very cetral, with just a short stroll in to Windermere approx 5 mins, and the bus and train station just around the corner.
