Beautiful apartment in an excellent spot midway between Windermere and Bowness. The layout of the kitchenloungedining area was perfect for spending chill time, bright and airy. Bedrooms extremely comfortable with high end linens. Super comfy beds. Luxurious bathroom. Had a wonderful 3 nights and could have stayed longer.

Fabulous place, great location and well equipped. We were 3 couples, 1 baby and two dogs and there was plenty of room. The games room was a great added bonus. Thank you, we would love to return at sometime in the future.

Beautiful house which exceeded our expectations. Perfect for a family or friends get together. Spacious accommodation, well equipped kitchen and very comfortable beds. Ideally located for walking into Bowness or Windermere. Would have no hesitation in rebooking.

Absolutely stunning property & perfect location for access to Windermere and to Bowness. We requested the beds be all made up as doubles and one was a twin on arrival but the cleaner came and reset it straight away which was lovely! & the games room is only for use of the upper apartment which was a bonus as we thought it was shared with the lower apartment. Loads of on street parking nearby as well as the parking bay right next to the front door. Will defo be back we had a fabulous time!

Fantastic accommodation, easily walkable into Bowness and Windermere. Accommodation and furnishings all done to a high standard. Plenty of kitchen utensils and crockery if you want to stay in. Beds super comfortable. Games room great for family fun, only downside on a blustery evening is having to go outside to enter games room which we hadnt realised. Would highly recommend.

Really lovely accomodation with high end featuresequipment. Fabulous location. The only and very tiny improvement suggestion would be to have some bigger cups for a decent sized cup of tea!

Absolutely stunning cottage. High end furnishings, spotlessly clean. Excellent location right in walking distance to the lake for bars, shops, restaurants and attractions. We will be booking again.

Excellent location and facilities including onsite and offsite parking just around the corner. From looking at the photos, we expected it to be a small place, particularly the living area but we were pleasantly surprised at the amount of room we had.

Beautiful apartment & well maintained, very well appointed, halfway between windermere and bownees on windermere this was perfect for us, the bus stop was directly outside the appartment which helped. The games room was brilliant as the weather wasn't playing ball unfortunately, non of us can control that, but will be returning next year

Fantastic property which we will definitely use again. Only downside were a number of pots & pans were in the cupboards visibily unwashed and dirty, this made us slightly nervous and therefore decided to utilise the dishwasher for all dishes, pots, pans, glasses, cutlery etc prior to using. The house on arrival was well prepared and spotlessly cleaned. Though our recommendation is to replace the pots & pans or at least in the short term check all kitchen equipment & utensils are clean in the cupboards.

This is A very well appointed holiday let, well equipped and very laid out close enough even my bad hip to walk into Bowness and Windermere and a bonus bus stops outside and a very good dog walk nearby into the wood. It was a delight to stop here.

Beautiful accommodation with fantastic games room. Spotlessly clean. Beds very comfy and powerful showers. Location is great, less than 5 mins walk to Bowness. Plenty of free parking opposite the house if you had two cars like us.

Amazing stay here. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you need. Home from home. I think this might be one of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in. Photos dont do it justice for how large the property is. Games room is amazing we used this every night! Only down side was the patio area isnt secure for dogs at all and the hot water is very hot. I wouldnt like a child to burn themselves if they got to the bath taps etc. However the negatives have not put us off we have already booked for next year and cant wait

Fantastically appointed accommodation, great facilities, superbly located and a wonderful base for an excellent week with family including two dogs, great woodland walk a couple of minutes from the cottage! . Would highly recommend and will definitely return!

Property as listed. Great location on main road between Bowness and Windermere. Bus stops adjacent to property. We were a party of 2 adults and small dog. Games room for sole use of Upper Sheriffs with small terrace. Didnt use the room and some darts seemed missing for the dart board. A great space for fun nights in however. Off road parking for single car. Large space, accommodated our X5 perfectly. Standard of bedding excellent. Clean and comfy. Large family bathroom excellent, good quality and well appointed. Loungekitchen dining area also very well appointed. Lots of gadgets and plates etc. also rechargeable hoover, mop and iron provided. Wine cooler, large fridge and freezer, washerdrier, dish washer, hob, ovens, coffee machine and Sonos Bluetooth speaker. Some of the soft furnishings in the lounge stained in places which is expected and could do with a clean to really make this property excel. All in all highly recommended and will come back. Also Lower Sheriffs Place can be accessed from the property. Perfect for large groups. Thank you.

We stayed here for 3 nights for my little girls birthday with my family and we absolutely loved it. The whole house is absolutely beautiful and has everything you could need, there was 5 of us and our Labrador and there was so much space. Had a slight issue with the electrics in the game room but it was fixed for us asap, couldnt have asked for better service. And the game room is a fab little touch and lovely at night to wind down with the family after a day out. Lovely and clean everywhere, even had a little welcome pack for the dog which was really cute. We wanted to stay longer! Will definitely be booking here again. Thankyou so much for our lovely stay!!

2nd time we have stayed in this property and it wont be the last. Ticks all the boxes for us as a family and in an ideal position for visiting all local restaurants, pubs and shops.

Lovely property with immaculate facilities in a great location. The bed was very comfy and the shower always hot. The living space is a great space to chill out and the kitchen has all you need for making meals. We used the games room on a number of occasions which we really enjoyed.

We have stayed in some nice cottages, but none have been better than Upper Sherriffs Place. Great location and very well presented.

Great property and position. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of space for all of us plus the dog. The games room is spot on, just a shame you have to go outside to get in but we were aware of that before we went and we still made good use the of the room. The property is a 1015 walk uphill to Windermere and the same down hill to Bowness plus the bus stop being right outside was a big plus. Would definitely recommend and we would return. Thank you.

We had a really lovely stay at the property! We loved the layout and it has everything you need and the location is brilliant. The only slight downside was the cleanliness, eg there was a lot of dog hairs around but appreciate it is a dog friendly property. It wasnt enough to put us off, we had a lovely stay.

Loved the property. Loved the location. Very comfortable beds and sofas and high quality fixtures and fittings. Bathrooms exceptional. Everything we needed apart from one small item the rack from the grill pan which made grilling food difficult. Felt the cleaning was not the best. The floor in the kitchenlounge had not been cleaned and the windows were dirty with hand prints and dog prints. This did not distract from an amazing vacation but wanted to highlight this. Games room amazing.

The property has been beautifully decorated and furnished throughout, to a very high standard. The kitchen has everything you could need, the living space is comfortable and vast and the bedrooms are all of a good size with stunning bathrooms. The added use of the games room and small section of outside space is a fantastic addition. The location itself is perfect only a 1015 min walk to both Bowness and Windermere meaning you have a host of bars, restaurants, shops and activities on your doorstep. We couldn't have asked for more. The first drawback was that the clean before our arrival left a lot to be desired. The upstairs bathroom didn't look like it had been cleaned thoroughly at all, with a dirty cloth left on the shower floor. The upstairs bins had not been emptied and were full of the previous visitor's rubbish. The living space was generally clean, but the washing machine was dirty inside and the place needed a spring clean to wash down wooden skirting boards etc. I would hope that this was a oneoff. However, the biggest issue we had was the heat. Whilst we appreciate that The Lake District is not known for 30 degree temperatures, there had been feedback in the guest book for the need for fans for the top two bedrooms which get VERY hot and two extremely small 4 inch fans had been provided. This was simply not good enough. The property direction means you get sun on the front windows from about 11am and all day long and the heat became unbearable. In the end, we had to purchase our own more substantial fans which was disappointing given how well appointed the house was for everything else. All in all, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again and had a fabulous holiday. Our only proviso would be that we bring our own fans next time!
