Extremely disappointed with the cottage, on arrival we had no heating or hot water, luckily that im a Gas Safe Engineer who was able to rectify the Fault F. 75 on the central heating boiler. Also the condition of the garden was shocking, I cleared 7 bags of dog foul from the back garden which I did not expect to have to do considering we have a small child and a Dog of our own. This is unacceptable on arrival and I have pictures of the foul in the garden if you wish to see them. I would like some compensation for this unacceptable cleanliness

We had a lovely stay at Stokers Cottage. The cottage is in a lovely location, easy accessible to all amenities. It was cosy and comfortable and beautifully decorated. We would definitely book again and would highly recommend.

Everything was fine with the cottage. Comfortable beds with cosy pillows & quilts. A great outdoor space. Perfect for our little dog. Kitchen had everything you could possibly need. The only problem for us was the location. It was a little too steep. Although it is a short walk into the centre of Bowness and perfect if youre able to hike back up after being out for the day.
