Hideaway Lodge is situated in the Kirkstone area of Limefitt Park in the Troutbeck Valley just four miles from the charming village of Windermere. The bright and airy open plan living area is ideal for guests to socialise and get involved in planning out activities for the next day. Hideaway Lodge is ideal for couples as well as families and it sleeps six guests plus as an infant in a travel cot. The lodge offers a decking area where guests can relax and unwind after a day hiking and sightseeing or in the summer months it is perfect to dine outside with a cold glass of wine. Wherever you are on the Park, you’ll enjoy nature and woodlands, and the Trout Beck runs through the park, and has some picnic areas, near the children’s playground. There’s also a pub on site, the Haybarn, and a small shop. Troutbeck and is just over four miles from Windermere village and from the Park, you can walk through the fields to the fabulous pub The Queens Head, and round the corner to the Mortal Man.
