The park has a children's playground, adventure playground and zip wire. The lodge provides children's toys, games and DVDs. Two travel cots and a highchair are available. Pony trekking is on site. The World of Beatrix Potter Attraction is just 4.1 miles away.

For Couples

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. The wrap-around deck with fell and valley views is perfect for evening drinks. Windermere, Ambleside and lakeside restaurants are all within 15 minutes. Multiple guests have described the lodge as peaceful and not overlooked.

Pet Friendly

Up to two dogs are welcome. Limefitt Park has a dedicated dog exercise field and dog walking area. Dogs must stay on leads on the park and cannot be left alone in the lodge. The Troutbeck Valley trails start from the door. Several nearby pubs are also dog-friendly.

Hideaway Lodge does not currently have a hot tub. Older reviews mention a private hot tub but it is no longer listed as a feature of this property.

Is it pet friendly?

Yes, up to two dogs are welcome at Hideaway Lodge. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the park and must not be left alone in the lodge at any point during the stay.

How many does Hideaway Lodge sleep?

The lodge sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. One infant in a travel cot can also be accommodated in either the master or second bedroom.

What are the bedrooms like?

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite shower room. The second bedroom has a double bed and a TV and the third bedroom has full-size twin beds.

Off-road parking for two cars is provided at the lodge. Electric vehicle charging is not available at the lodge but the nearest charging point is at Booths Supermarket in Windermere.
