The flat was perfect for our short stay in Wndermere. It is beautifully decorated and felt like home from the minute we got there our 13 year old didn't want to leave 'her room'. It's in the perfect place for peace and quiet, but only a couple of minutes walk from restaurants, cafes and shops, and Bowness is only a 2025 minute walk down the hill, which meant we were able to leave the car at the house for the duration of our stay. We're already looking to rebook for another short break.

This is a beautiful apartment in an ideal location. Right in the centre of Windermere with off road parking and really quiet as its off the main high street. The apartment is stylish, cosy and comfortable. We have stayed here 4 times now and will definitely be back again. You can catch a bus easily to visit Ambleside or Grassmere and Bowness is a lovely 20 minute stroll away. The perfect place for a stylish and relaxing break.

We so enjoyed our stay at Wandsfell at Lipwood. It is beautifully furnished, in a fabulous position and so very peaceful. The only two minor things were the lack of terrestrial tv, and no caffetiere. Would definitely stay again.

This was our second time we have stayed at Wansfell at Lipwood house and again it did not let us down and we are looking to book for next year as it is a great apartment with plenty of space and very comfortable if your looking for a place to stay in Windermere to stay then this is the ideal place to have as your base for your stay in the lakes. The only niggle we had is that it could do with a shower tidy in the ensuite so you have somewhere to put your shampoobody wash when taking a shower and in the kitchen it could do with a proper seated bread knife. other than that it is perfect.

Wonderful condition of the apartment. It was very new, very modern equipments and decoration. Spacious rooms and fully functioning. Fantastic location to explore the Windermere town and access the entire Lake District! It was a shame that we had to leave this lovely apartment in just 4 days. Small problem with the fire alarms, it is a bit too Sensitive.

Excellent apartment, location to Windermere and Bowness perfect, and great base for exploring the rest of the lakes. Apartment is high quality and well equipped. Our only suggestion would be to improve the TV availability as there is no terrestrial access, where it seems a cheap cost cutting measure to avoid a licence at odds with the overall quality of the apartment

We had to get the agent out to let us in on arrival the plate on the front of the lock means the key does not fit. And we had no hot water on two mornings fault with boiler. Again the agent came out on the day in the middle of our stay but it went wrong again on our last day. This is not what I was expecting from an expensive rental. I understand the issues need to be taken up with the owner so I hope this will be forwarded.

Receives my very highest recommendation. Absolutely the highest grade accommodation we have ever stayed in, with everything you need. Perfect location close to Windemere centre, but so very quiet and comfortable. Felt privileged to stay and wished we had booked more time already looking at coming back.
