The apartment was perfect for us.Just a few minutes walk into Bowness, but with good dog walks very close. In summaryHighly Recommend
A very comfortable, clean, wellappointed cosy ground floor apartment for 2 people excellent location in a quiet street midway between Windermere and Bowness.

Loved it very clean and very well maintained will stay again
Brilliant stay at The Sunflower. Highly recommended.
Very nice cottage for a couple, close to all amenities. Very handy for lake trips.
Lovely stay in a well appointed ground floor flat, situated perfectly between Windermere and Bowness with only a ten minute walk to reach either, and a further 5 mins through Bowness to reach the Lake. Check in straightforward with key collection and nice little welcome basket supplied. Very clean, with most items you would expect only advice would be to pack your own iron and enough room to be comfortable for us as a couple with a small dog. The little decked patio area was ideal for relaxing outdoors after a day of exploring. Ideal base for exploring further afield throughout the District too. A very enjoyable stay. Would return again and recommend.
This was a great little find. The accommodation was perfect for our stay. It was close to all local amenities, so no need for a car. The home was clean, comfortable, modern and provided everything we needed. The welcome gift was a lovely touch, thank you much appreciated. Only one piece of feedback in the directions on how to find the accommodation, would be to change description of gates from yellow to wooden. We were actually looking for a gate painted yellow and in fact it was just a wooden gate. Only minor but may help future guests.
We had a very comfortable stay at The Sunflower. The welcome basket was a lovely touch and we found everything to be very clean and well kept.
Lovely place to stay at times could be a little noisy in the apartment above so had to try and stop our dog from barking .
Very noisy we stayed 2 days of 7day holiday what a waste of time & money would not recommend unless your deaf

A lovely, comfortable cottage with everything you need. A great location to get out and about in the southern lakes.
Great place to stay, we found it the centre of where we wanted to go so could walk all the time and my dog had a great holiday. Highly recommend
Lovely property, absolutely spotless. Great location. Nice quiet part of Windermere.

Lovely cottage in a great location only problem we had to pick up a lot of dog poo from the garden

We had a lovely break. We have stayed in various places in several towns and villages in the Lake District over the years. The Lake District is our favourite place on Earth to visit. We have stayed in apartments, B&Bs, hotels and cottages. The Sunflower was, quite simply, the very best of all our visits. Thankyou
Our stay at Sunflower Cottage was absolutely first class. Great facilities and spotless clean. We had a small problem with the central which was mostly our fault as we were unsure how it worked. Within 5 minutes of our text all was sorted. I would have no hesitation in recommending Sunflower cottage to friends and family. Ten out of ten

This property is very nice and comfortable for 2 people. It is situated close to the centre of Windermere, well maintained, well equipped and nicely decorated and furnished. It has 2 bedrooms but only one furnished as a bedroom. The other one is a useful storagedressing room. Onstreet parking might be an issue for some but we managed ok. There is a flat above which could be noisy when occupied.
We enjoyed our stay at the sunflower and would highly recommend staying there.

We had a fantastic stay at the Sunflower Cottage. It was so comfortable, stylish and the location was excellent. We also appreciated the welcome pack for both ourselves & our dog. Such a.loveky gesture and much appreciated after our long journey from Ireland..This was our first visit to the Lake District and the Sunflower Cottage was definitely one of the many hours highlights of our trip.
Hayley
The property is beautiful. So clean and the most modern place we have stayed in the lakes. Bed really comfortable and TV in every room. Loved the gift basket left with Prosecco and other treats. They have thought of everything in the property. If it wasnt for the nose from above we would stay here again and it would be 5 star all round. However we were at the lakes for our honeymoon, and we did not realise that we would be able to hear people in the apartment above so easily. 3 of the 5 nights we could hear people stomping about above and it kept us up till 2am, then they woke up again at 5am so we had little sleep. Its timber joists between upstairs and downstairs unlike the new apartments where they are made with concrete so you can quite literally hear everything from above. This needs to be made clearer on the website as we wouldnt have booked this if we knew. Lovely place to stay but if you want somewhere quiet Id look elsewhere as its a risk you will have someone staying in the apartment above, thankfully we had 2 nights of full sleep when they left.
The Sunflower exceeded our expectations it was extremely clean, well maintained and perfectly kitted out with everything that we needed for our stay. The apartment is very well located between Windermere and Bowness and with a bus stop at the end of the road for easy trips elsewhere. Thank you for providing the perfect base for our trip, we will return!

What more can be said about this accomodation. Spotlessly clean, smelt amazing and facilities great, especially the dressing room which was excellent and so useful. We had good weather so had use of the patio cushions for the outdoor chairs would be appreciated but I do suffer joint pain. It is situated between bowness and windemere so ideal location. Loved the boat cruises, one to ambleside and a lake cruise. We also visited grasmere on open top bus...loved it great views. First time in the lakes and would love to return. Thank you for a lovely stay and the beautiful welcome pack.
Annette
Beautiful house, tasteful decoration and furniture. Excellent position for Windermere and Bowness. Only tiny thing, could probably do with a few more teacoffee cups! Small thing.
Really lovely stay, comfy and cosy in a great location. We were lucky no one was in the flat above most of the week when people moved in up there towards the end of our stay it was very noisy. Parking was ok on street but imagine in peak season it is quite difficult. Overall the accommodation was lovely, well equipped, comfortable bed and very clean. Would definitely returnrecommend.
One of the best holiday properties we have stayed at and we have stayed at many! The furnishings feel luxurious. The bed is very comfortable and the dressing room is a real bonus for storing luggage etc. The flat is very quiet, although the flat above us was unoccupied during our stay so we benefited from having no noise from above. We found parking was available on the street outside the property most days. We only had to park on the adjacent street on one occasion and its literally around the corner so dont let the lack of dedicated parking put you off. There were one or two additional bits that would have been handy in the kitchen e.g. some extra plates and cups, but generally it was well equipped. There were no instructions on what do with the binrecycling so we took our recycling home with us. A chap popped round to put the bin out on the Thursday afternoon which did give us a slight fright when he appeared in the garden, but it explains why there were no instructions for the bin! Overall, a really lovely property. We would happily stay again and highly recommend it to others.
Great place to stay modern & comfortable ideal location loved it will definitely be back
Great property fantastic location
A very nice and comfortable holiday home. Would be happy to go back.
Everything about the accommodation was really good, no complaints at all and we really enjoyed the stay. The cottage was in a great spot, nice and quiet off the main road but close to both Windermere and Bowness. Parking on the street was the only thing that I wasnt too keen on but had no problem finding a space
Property was very comfortable and well appointed. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils of excellent quality. The lounge area comfortable and large enough for two people. Bed very comfortable and warm. We were able to adjust the central heating with very little effort. Only criticism was that smart TV's were difficult to operate as we were only able to get live television on BBC and ITV channels. but that may be down to our lack of expertise.
We had a great relaxing stay. The welcome pack was a nice surprise. The place is a great location to Windermere and not to far from other locations. The only negative experience we had was there was a lot of noise from tenants above late a night for a few nights which caused disruption to sleep due to them walking in and out and walking around there place which can be heard through the floor boards. Other than that this was a great stay and would recommend
Melanie
Great location, beautifully decorated and the comfiest bed ever! !
Nicola
Absolutely perfect apartment, beautifully decorated with everything you need. Perfectly located to walk into Bowness or Windamere. Had a very relaxing short stay, the sun even put in an appearance. We will definitely return one day.
Caroline
Fantastic stay at The Sunflower. Place.was ideal for us and our dog and was well equipped, ideally located and tastefully decorated. Was easy to come back after a busy day and kick back and relax in. Would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in and around Windermere.
Property was very well furnished and excellent for two people and a dog. Loved the welcome pack which was a nice surprise. The bathroom could use a toilet brush and small bin to make it perfect. Could also use a cafetire in the kitchen as some like to use ground coffee. Had some issue with the WiFi buffering but I think thats a local service issue. Will look to stay again one day and will certainly recommend to others.
