What an amazing property! Everything is so well thought through. It felt very luxurious and the perfect place to stay in the lakes. There was everything you could need in the property but only a short walk to lots of cafes, pubs and shops. Would highly recommend this property.

Everything was perfect, Otto was in contact a couple of times before arrival to explain and recommend everything about the area, restaurants and general information. Check in was great and the house is simply stunning just everything is perfect we loved our stay so much we came home and booked another week for later in the year we cant wait to return to this beautiful house in a very peaceful location

What an amazing place to stay. We were astonished at the level of care to welcome guests to a clean, tastefully furnished and superbly equipped modern bungalow including a much appreciated welcome pack and bottle of wine. As two couples we loved the layout, enabling good privacy in the large bedrooms and luxurious ensuites and felt so comfortable in the communal kitchen and comfortable lounge area. All facilities were true to the listing and we really enjoyed returning to the holiday base after our days out and about. The allweather, outdoor seatingdining areas are a fantastic bonus and we were actually able to enjoy sitting out in the sunshine this April! The residential setting is just a few minutes walk from nearby shops, restaurants and Windermere lake updown the hill and it's easy to drive out to other areas. The property has 2 generous parking places and Otto and the housekeeping team are truly professional, friendly and helpful. The Cassius brand is impressive and instils respect from those who have the good fortune to experience what they have to offer. Super place to stay and we hope to get the chance to return. Thanks

Had a great stay in Richmond House the photos don't do it justice! We couldn't fault this fabulous property that has everything you could want and more wouldn't hesitate to recommend. Convenient location, we didn't use the car all week. We were lovely and cosy on our winter break but the outdoor space would be superb for warmer weather. Great communicationhospitality from Otto who we had the pleasure of meeting on our last morning.

This truly is an amazing property to stay in. Everything is of very high quality and the best self catering accommodation I have stayed in. The guest services manager Otto was fantastic .

Beautiful apartment, couldn't have asked for more where complimentary items were concerned e. G. dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid etc I don't remember there being any mention of the property being at the top of a steep hill, which might have been a consideration when booking.

Wow. Richmond House is an exceptional property. All the fixtures, fittings and design features are superb and top quality. Stunning outside area where you can chill, dine and enjoy a barbecue with a fire if needed. There is an additional raised seating area to take in the views of the fells. You can tell this property has been created with passion. It is evident the owners want their guests to enjoy a truly memorable, luxurious experience. Otto and the team are so friendly and cant do enough for you. Thankyou to you all. The property is in a great quiet location, only a short stroll to an abundance of shops, bars, cafes and restaurants. We didnt use our car at all, just hopped on the buses to tour the area. I cant recommend this property highly enough. Dont hesitate you will be extremely impressed. We will definitely return to one of the properties in their portfolio in the future.

This is an exceptional property in an ideal location. Just a quick wander down the road to Bowness. The house has been renovated to very high standard with high end fixtures and fittings. Everything was spotless no issues for us at all.

Absolutely beautiful place to spend a week exploring the lakes. Felt like Boutique hotel but with all the comforts of home. Perfectly located would definitely go back. Otto provided lots of useful information and was contactable throughout our stay.

Communication Very timely, patient, and very comprehensive. Cleanliness Clean and tidy Surroundings Very convenient, many restaurants, supermarkets are also very close to the house, just a 2minute drive from the lake. Unique highlights All the amenities are very new and the layout is really great, especially the living room and the yard, which my family and I really enjoyed. There is floor heating in the living room and the bathroom and every detail is very in place. Amenities The host prepared everything we could use for us, special baby utensils, there were baby chairs, had baby tableware, even the little stools that let the baby wash their own hand, so we were very touched. What a beautiful home. Everything in the house is pristine & the attention to detail that the owners have put in is visible everywhere. There are two extremely comfy super king beds, a lovely rain shower & the under floor heating is a treat for the feet. Nice little touches with a welcome card, snacks & wine. I wish the weather was nicer to enjoy the outside space as this is also just gorgeous. Next time! The hosts were extremely helpful throughout our stay & very responsive. One of the best places weve stayed, do not hesitate to book. Luxury awaits!

I do not often post reviews but I felt that I must do so on this occasion. The property is stunning & full of everything that you need to facilitate a great & enjoyable stay. The spec is of a very high standard & it's location in Bowness couldn't be better, close enough to amenities & just away from the hustle bustle of the main street. The attention to detail from the Team is second to none & Otto is a fabulous Chap to deal with. We had an excellent long weekend & will certainly visit again.

We had a lovely break at Richmond House. It was a lovely space in which to spend a few days spacious, wellappointed, smartly furnished and finished to a very high spec. The openplan kitchen and living area were ideal for our young family. The location was great for exploring the Lake District a short wander into BownessonWindermere itself and not far from Windermere, Ambleside, Grasmere and Kendal. Rebecca and Phil were ideal hosts really responsive, attentive and full of helpful suggestions about the local area. We would highly recommend staying and Im sure well be back in future. We have just had the amazing pleasure of being the very first guests to stay in this stunning property. The house it absolutely stunning. It has just been fully done out to such a high standard, and the quality of finish is faultless. Fully equipped with everything you would need, but so tastefully designed and laid out. From sitting in the beautiful kitchen looking out to that gorgeous garden, to lighting the outside fire and sitting out of an evening with a nice glass of wine, absolutely magical. And it is so well located for the town centre, just a few minutes walk and you are in the centre amongst it all.
