Enjoyed a very pleasant stay at Mosslea. Excellent location, parking a big bonus. High standard of cleanliness and all the facilities you need for a comfortable stay.

Mosslea ground floor flat was clean, comfortable and warm. There was everything there that we needed. Although on a busy road and bus route it is sufficiently set back to be quiet and peaceful. We took the bus from the end of the lane which was convenient for us, leaving our car in the designated parking spot. This was our second visit an enjoyable week.
The property and it's location as well as things provided were excellent for us. The only minor drawbacks were operating the plug in the bath, which we overcame eventually and the bin instructions. Difficult to ID the bins for the property.
Excellent all round accommodation. May be a little dated but very clean. Parking in front of accommodation. Will definitely be back.

Hi,one or two things need addressing,when we arrived property didnt look like had been hoovered bits on the floor,couldnt get bath plug to stay in so couldnt have a bath one of the reasons we opted for the property,only 1 window at the front opened all the rest were locked, the curtains when closing them had no stoppers on the rail so when closing them they would go right to the middle of the window,the property could of done with a small book telling you how things worked where bin was for rubbish.

Mosslea is a lovely apartment with everything you need. Easy walking distance to shops, restaurants, Windermere Lake and Windermere. Parking space is an added bonus.

Once again a great time at Mosslea made even better by the weather all you need for a great self catering holiday and the parking spot is good so you do not have to use the car to get around . Even though patio is very small two can sit and enjoy the weather as we did.

We really enjoyed our stay at Mosslea. The property was well equipped and comfortable and was ideal for our needs. It was also well located with a short walk to the town centre and for travel to other parts of the Lake District. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.
My husband and I had a lovely stay in the apartment. Very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfortable and it was quiet at night so we had a good nights sleep. The parking space was great and right in front of the property. 5 minuets walking distance to everything. Would definitely stay again.

As usual a great stay at Mosslea
The property was well furnished and well equipped. A step ladder or something to stand on in the kitchen would be useful as the fridge was above the freezer and it meant all it's shelves were high up. We appreciated just how spacious the property is and loved the tiny 'garden' area and small balcony off the bedroom.

The property was ideally located for Bowness and other towns and villages a short distance away. The parking spot was lovely as we did not need to use the car.

Good location, a short walk from Bowness centre. Darker curtains in the bedroom would be beneficial to getting a good nights sleep. The outside space is a small area which just about accommodates a bistro table & 2 chairs, ambiguous to describe it as a patio. No clear instructions on parking & recycling.

Another pleasant stay at this property. Iideal for our walking holiday. Clean, comfortable & quiet being off the main road. This year a new television & WiFi which is great, not having to rely on the BT hotspot. We will return.

Had a lovely stay in the well equipped flat. very comfortable however just a couple of issues. 1. understand the reason for the washer being turned off but it would have been better if we had been informed before we got there. 2. recycling was an issue. no box and we were also not informed what we could recycle.
Would have been nice to have had a bit of heat on when we arrived. Apart from that everything very good.

We found the apartment to be warm, clean and comfortable. We got a good nights sleep as the bed was comfortable and it was nice and quiet. The apartment was a great size for the two of us. The parking spot was essential as having on site parking is a deal breaker for us. All in all a good experience and we would definitely stay again.

Pleasantly surprised when we entered the apartment. Everything had been considered when equipping it. The bed was comfortable, the apartment was warm and there was plenty of hot water. It was very conveniently situated in Bowness but not in a noisy area being on the outskirts of the town. A message indicating when dustbin day is would have been sensible. By the time we saw the bins in the centre it was too late. Also there was no provision for recycling . Judging by the number of bottles in the bin the chance was lost. Which is a shame.
Lovely position, everything on door step ,the bath was an added bonus for soaking aching muscles after long walks . Spacious rooms , outside patio area a bit small but gets the sun .
The accommodation was very comfortable. Kitchen is bit dark and dated but has what was needed. Bed was comfortable and bedroom has plenty of storage. Bathroom is modern and shower is good. Not too far from the lakeside so an easy walk. Plenty of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Parking was a bit tricky the first weekend but this I think was mainly due to three cars being parked at the accommodation next door. They left on the Monday so we were able to then park in the designated space. It was good to have a parking space as the town itself was very busy and parking elsewhere was at a premium. Only slight disappointment was what had been described as a patio area with views of the garden. This was actually a small landing at the top of some steps which was barely big enough for two people and had a view of the hedge. This, however, was only a minor thing which did not spoil our holiday. Overall we had an enjoyable experience and would be happy to visit again in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay, but NO INTERNET and NO WIFI made contact with friends and my opticians very difficult! I had to keep walking down to the Costa coffee shop to get and send messages.

Mosslea is a good property close to all attractions, ground level, easy parking ,but the mattress is very poor and i have said this before but still no change. everyone needs a good night sleep . please ensure that the mattress is replaced with a quality one.
A very pleasant stay an issue we had with the hot water and heating was resolved the same day I raised it. Great customer service. The apartment suited our needs perfectly and thats why we keep going back, WiFi would be beneficial and perhaps replenish the wine glasses there were only 2 and one had seen better days lol . We look forward to coming back next year.

WE were very impressed with Mosslea, the dark wood doors were a suprise but on opening them all the rooms were bright and airy. The windows in the louge made it all very light and the decore in the bedroom made this very light. All the things you need for self catering were there and a perfect spot to be close enough to the village of Bowness but back enough from the road to be quiet. We will be looking to book again
We stayed for a week in April and had a great time, the location is ideally situated for a short walk in to Bowness or 1015 walk to Windermere, this opens the opportunity for train journeys around the lakes for non car users. There was a slight issue with the heating and hot water going off, this was raised and while we were out that day, an engineer attended the property and fixed the issue, great service. I would have no reservation in recommending this property family and friends.

The first evening we arrived we phoned the emergency service to say that we had no wifi and that the kettle was not working, A gentleman phoned back to say there was no wifi at the property and that he would make sure that the kettle was replaced. It never was..... The apartment is a bit oldfashioned with a beige corner suite a bit big, has not got the holiday flat feel.
