The lodge has books, DVDs and toys inside. The park has a children's adventure playground with a zipwire. Trout Beck runs alongside the decking where kids can watch ducks, deer and fish. Windermere, Bowness boat trips and the World of Beatrix Potter are all under 5 miles away.
For Couples
The lodge's private corner position beside Trout Beck makes it genuinely peaceful. Evenings on the decking listening to the beck with a drink are hard to beat. Windermere, Ambleside restaurants and the Drunken Duck pub are all within 15 minutes. The king-size en-suite bedroom adds a touch of comfort.
Pet Friendly
Up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome. The wraparound decking has toughened glass panels and is described as secure for dogs. The park has designated dog-walking areas. Dogs must stay on leads on the park at all times and cannot be left alone in the lodge.

Jinnyspinner Lodge does not have a hot tub. The outdoor space centres on a large private wraparound decking area with toughened glass panels directly overlooking Trout Beck.
Is it pet friendly?
Yes, up to two well-behaved dogs are welcome at Jinnyspinner Lodge. Dogs must be kept on leads at all times on the park and must not be left alone in the lodge at any point during the stay.
How many people does the lodge sleep?
The lodge sleeps up to six guests across three bedrooms. There is one king-size bedroom with en-suite, one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.
What bathrooms does the lodge have?
There are two bathrooms. The king-size bedroom has an en-suite with a walk-in shower, basin, heated towel rail and WC. The family bathroom has a bath, shower over bath, basin, heated towel rail and WC.
Is there parking at the lodge?
Yes, there is off-road parking for two cars directly at the lodge. Commercial vehicles, caravans and camper vans are not permitted on the park.
Is WiFi available at the lodge?
Complimentary park WiFi is available but is subject to fair usage guidelines and may be slower or less reliable than guests are used to. It is suitable for browsing and emails but is not intended for gaming, streaming-heavy use or business purposes.
What is the nearest train station?
Windermere train station is 3.3 miles from the lodge. From there a taxi or local bus will get you to Limefitt Holiday Park in Troutbeck.
Are cots and highchairs available?
The lodge does not provide a travel cot or highchair. A travel cot will fit in the master bedroom only and guests must bring their own. Cots and highchairs are available at an additional cost through the park.
